RANDOM LIST OF STUPIDITY!!KYAAAAA!!

1.) You accidentally enter your password on a microwave.

2.) You havent played solitaire with real cards in years.

3.) The reason for not staying in touch with your friends is that they dont have a screen name or myspace.

4.) You'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the button on the tv.

6.) Your boss doesnt even have the ability to do your job.

7.) You read this list, & keep nodding and smiling.

8.) As you read this list, you think about sending it to all your friends.

9.) And you were too busy to notice number 5.

10.) You actually scrolled back up to check that there was a number 5.

Might as well... Bounce!
I was tripping by Snopes while on the phone (shhh! don't tell anyone!) and hit the Randomizer link.  (Snopes Randomizer.  For the truly keyboard-bound.)  I was taken to this page and found out all kinds of things to do with a sheet of Bounce fabric softener.

So of course, being the civic-minded chick I am, who wants everyone to have pleasant-smelling feet, I thought I'd share it with you.

At This Hour

So wow ... I'm listening to a preview of Twilight's soundtrack & I'm like on pins & needles waiting for this movie to come out. I never expected to fall in love with a book about a vampire & mortal ... I'm into Nicholas Sparks' novels not supernatural stuff but the Twilight series got to me. A couple of hours ago, I was about to tune into my favorite radio station online when I came across an interview with Robert Pattinson on the site & ended up listening to it instead. 1 question thrown at him was along of the line of why women were/are so drawn to the character of Edward Cullen ... He had no idea. To him, the guy was a regular 17 year old who got bitten and ended up with eternal life & then ends up all lonely and depressed ...
I DID NOT FALL FOR THE FICTIONAL CHARACTER BASED ON THOSE TRAITS. I highly doubt that females that have fallen for E.Cullen are captivated because of those traits as well. It's understandable though since Robert's a guy & well, it went beyond him ... Anyhow, I'm not about to get into why I personally was drawn to this fictional character ... I just feel like taking a moment to express whatever & everything that crosses my mind as I wait for the computer to finish running its virus scan.

College ... You really are forced to choose 2 out of 3 presented choices: Grades, Social Life, & Sleep. Only 2. But being a successful 1st year student & having all 3 is highly unlikely to happen. September kicked off & I had things under control. I had all 3 ... Life was grand. Then thread by thread, it all came apart & now ... I have no idea how I ended up at the stage I currently am. Tomorrow I have to go in & ask if I can request a temporary place-holding grade in my Bio course, & retake the course next semester. The good thing is, I've spoken with my mother on Wednesday & have prepared her ... Of course, she expects wonderous grades in my other courses ... Math's the only tricky, uncertain one ... I have a major exam on Monday. I definitely need to study. At least I won't have to worry about the Bio exam on Sunday. Just go & sit through it, attempt it but don't stress it.

Tomorrow I have to wake up early & shower before the hot water is taken off for repairment purposes in the entire building, won't be running until 2:30 & I have class at 1:25 so, yeh. Early shower, less sleep than usual. Have to go meet the Bio secretary, talk with her, get back to my counselor, go to a review session for Math & then regular Math class session ... Then, day should wrap up. Think me & my friend will just hang out afterwards ... Hopefully the weather doesn't turn out to be the way it was toda- well, yesterday. Dark, depressing ... Whatever.

Parents will come by in the evening. I'm looking forward to that. I actually can't wait to go & be home next weekend. Since my life has unraveled, I enjoy being away from this place ... Well, computer's done scanning ... & I am tired. A bit much has happened today. Family drama from last night unraveled itself today & there's not much I can do - actually can't do anything at all. Um, we all have our issues to deal with. Life's complicated enough ... Yeh, I'll wrap up here.

This day = made of awesome.
First, this entire region is still riding high from last night's win. Which means work was fun today because lots of people were in good moods and were wearing Phillies shirts or colors, and work kind of took a back burner.

Second, Lauren and I both begged our new boss to let us take vacation days tomorrow in order to attend the championship parade in Center City tomorrow. The begging paid off, so we're taking the train out in the morning for the all-day party.

Third, good fortune continued to smile upon us as we fought with Ticketmaster to procure (free) tickets to the post-parade celebration at both Citizens Bank Park and the Linc. We succeeded, though we ended up giving our tickets to a co-worker and his wife (and their two kids) because another friend had somehow managed to get 16 tickets to CBP. We'll be using those.

Fourth, the good moods continued when we chowed down on mini-cupcakes from Cupcakes Gourmet for Estelle's birthday, and lots of candy from the little trick-or-treat session for employees' kids. Everyone's happy when on a sugar high.

Fifth, I braved the crowds at Modell's after work so I could get a Phillies shirt for the parade tomorrow. Can't show up with no gear! I picked a Jimmy Rollins shirt... what can I say, he and I have good taste in numbers (11, which is my old volleyball number).

And lastly, I found out that my building FINALLY has new washers and dryers. The washers are front-loaders, which is all well and great, except that when I tried to unload my wet clothes into the dryer, quite a few articles fell onto the floor. Ew. It also now costs an extra quarter to operate the washers and dryers. BUT, considering that these are the only low points today, I'm willing to overlook them. =D

Oh, oh! And I forgot that it's also Thursday night TV! "Smallville's" on now... seriously, why can't hot guys just waltz into my life like they do to female characters on this show? Sheesh.

Whatever...

[*] So sleepy today. *yawn* Though tomorrow will most likely be worse, considering tonight is Game 5 of the World Series and maybe, maybe (hope hope hope) the last one, and I'm totally going to stay up to watch even if it doesn't end until 2:00 a.m. like Game 3. Go Phillies!

[*] Dave bought me a purse for my birthday (the one I mentioned in my August 29th post). I was showing him and Mom some of the reasons for my obsession with Etsy on Sunday, and he plunked down his credit card and told me to pick out a birthday present. So I got this, and Mom got the black and white clutch (Dave spoils her, haha).

[*] I feel slightly less pissed off today. I was so upset the entire ride home last night, that the second thing I did when I got inside (first was feed the starving kitties) was hop online to do some rumor-fighting concerning my presidential candidate choice. I felt much better after doing so, and have decided that as long as I personally feel confident in my voting choice, then that's all that matters. Others can believe whatever they want to believe. I'm sick and tired of defending myself.

[*] lldangerous is on jury duty today (and possibly tomorrow), and I'm kind of jealous. I've never been called to serve on jury duty, and even though everyone complains when it's their time, I'm curious about the process. Well, that and the day off from work.

That's all for now. I'm getting antsy about my project... it's [supposed to be] going out today, and I haven't been able to send anything down to our print center because I'm stuck in the review process. :/

iFeel:  impatient
