Stereogum has posted Drive XV, a complete tribute album to Automatic for the People, the amazing early 90s release from R.E.M.  The tribute is in honor of the album's 15th anniversary (is it really that long?).  What is great about this is that it is the complete album, done in covers, and it's FREE.  Just go to the link and download away.  They've also got a bunch of bonus tracks that are additional versions of some of the songs.

On more than one occasion I've stated that this might be the one CD that I take with me on that proverbial "Desert Island" situation.  Maybe that's the reason why I'm so digging this tribute, but if you are an R.E.M. of any kind, you owe it to yourself to check out this stunning collection of covers.

I think it'll take an over 15,000 since I severely underestimated last time. I'm not good at estimating at all. I don't know why. Even in like primary school and high school and stuff, I could never estimate stuff properly. Maybe it shows how much I know about what things should be... cause I'm stupid like that... lol

I always end up either over or underestimating everything.

But yes, anyways. I am disappointed that I didn't go out tonight, but perhaps any other day (hopefully).

I'm almost through ecology. Just finishing off sex ratios and population growth and probably dispersion and that's it for ecology! Then moving on to behavioural ecology... :P It was fun though, and I'm hoping it's going to be short and sweet. I might not get it printed by tonight, but hey... at least it's better than what I had for biochem, when I was still typing up the notes an hour before the exam started. And I found that exam pretty good. Hope this one ain't too hard.

Gotta start working again. People have noticed that I haven't worked in about 6 weeks, which is quite bad, but hmmm...

Ok, well I'd better stop rambling to myself and finish it all off so I can sleep.

Wow, I just realised what a majorly long entry I just wrote. 1,370 words... hehehe

But... wow... it's been ages since I've written so much in one sitting :)

Lol, it’s really quite funny. I’m sitting here in the library, wasting more time as per usual, but I was going through my log book (cause it’s due today) and realised that I have to white–out all my page numbers and rewrite them all again cause I did them wrong for some weird unknown reason. So aside from wasting my time doing that, I spilt my white-out (bottle) all over the chair and the ground. It’s kinda hard to hide the fact that it was me cause I’ve got white-out all over my hands and clothes and the chair that I’m sitting on, and I still had to go back and finish the page numbers.

In a couple of minutes I have to go to my Chem tute. Well, double chem tute. I shall then finish my log book, hand it in and then go home, I think. Sounds like a good idea to me.
