You all know I don't do what I do for praise or for profit, but I think that many of the blog themes I've designed for you guys are cool. I especially have had so much fun creating them, I forget that each year some of you have hosted Mindsay awards. Last year I wasn't aware that Mindsay had such a call for nominations and didn't find out about it until much, much too late. Just like how I vote for top blogs (I try to vote everytime I'm on Mindsay, but sometimes I forget) I really take the time to see what's out there, and I've come to the conclusion that there are way too many blogs on Mindsay for me to read. You see, once your friend's list gets to be anything over 50 people, and once your own blog entries get to be over 400, it takes a long while to really go through that list and choose your favorites.
*Best Designed Blog
underground1986 -- she has always redesigned her blog with such great themes, I really want to see her learn CSS and submit themes to Mindsay as default themes, but for now we all have to be content with what she does with her personal blog.
divine is another favorite Mindsay pal of mine who really puts a lot of effort into each time she customizes her blog theme. Check out her current blog and be impressed.
My other nomination would have to be msdania because her John Mayer themed blog is the best and she changes it often to suit her mood rather effectively.
*Best Theme Designer
valentinaxxx is myself and I think I have done a damn good job, even though it's just one of those things I do to aleve boredom and to test a few ideas I've got swimming around in my head. Other than nominating myself (it would be great if this year you guys did vote for me!) I would have to say the following other Mindsay blog designers out there really deserve your vote, folks:
callmeroger -- without him, I think many of us who do Mindsay wiki pages would be lost. However, this year he's taken a lot of time off to do other things, however I would have to say that his blog is the best designed even though I don't care for it as much as it is right now. Each time he redesigns his blog, it is unique and clearly his own. If you're pals with Roger, you'll know what I mean.
otacon120 -- he's always done some great themes, but this year he's had a bad run of luck which leaves him mostly absent now on Mindsay. Maybe a nomination for best theme designer will help bring him back?

Here's one of mine that I encourage you to vote for: The Valentina Tarot Deck which I posted on June 28th of this year. I finished the entire Tarot deck last year, however, but only recently have put all the cards together in one blog entry for review. I'm still looking for a publisher, however, so who knows when you all can actually buy my deck.

*The Raw Award (Designed to honor the blogger who is the most raw/genuine. Least concern for political correctness and/or fluff. You know that blogger who's very blunt but effective? This might just be the category for that blogger.)
I would say PUSSYPATTER is the one who most deserves this award. Wendy doesn't care if she offends you or not, she can always be counted on to speak her mind and indulge in her sexuality. Read her blog and weep, my friends!
I've looked through all the categories at mmca and am not all that familiar with some of them, so over the next few weeks I'll be looking things over. For now this is my nomination list. I'm sure I'll vote for more people for other categories -- just want to put my voice out there for now.
One thing I want to add:
mmca should include in the categories list a vote for "Best Mindsay Wiki pages" such as:
*Best Mindsay wiki page -- this would be the page most Mindsayers like to visit when they hit that Wiki index. These are the public Mindsay wiki's not the personal ones.
*Best Personal Mindsay wiki page -- the best personal Mindsay wiki pages people like to visit.
*Best Mindsay wiki page theme -- the most creative and best designed Mindsay wiki page (public)
Those are my suggestions, considering that many Mindsayers do a lot of Mindsay wiki work each week.
