Protein @ MindSay

Day 2
Morning glory today, especially after checking my emails! :D But yea, I am holding a bit better, and it's not so difficult as I thought, yet haha I did have a mild headache, but I slept it off. If I build up enough drive I can hopefully overcome a mental block I have, that is my theory (and also partly why this is a good idea I think) - true or not though the hope/confidence from that should help.

Also thought I could do with a bit more protein in my diet to build myself up just a little for someone, so bought a protein suppliment for veggies today, and ughhhhh it's like eating powdered chalk! haha (too much makes y'want to heave!) - but I miked it with milkshake, which makes it bearable - it's just the lumps that are ewww. I started off with a whole desertspoon (and it recommended 2 but I thought that'd get through the supply way too quick and besides it's far more protein than I'm used to anyway, as it's like 89%) - I think (and mum agrees) - only use a tablespoon a day, because that's far more than I'm used to, and I'm not bodybuilding, and that much I can handle. It may be placebo but I do feel a bit different after it, maybe more relaxed? haha - surprising what diet can do, especially for someone who's been self-deprived of certain nutrients for years

Protein Rich Food for Weight Loss
When I was struggling to find ways losing my body weight, a friend of mine had suggested some protein rich foods to supplement high carb foods to cut down those extra pounds.

Protein foods need an acid intermediate for absorption. You should take only one type of protein at a time. Eat whatever protein food you want but do not consume it in combination with any starch food. Good and high quality proteins will help you to reduce weight by controlling your appetite and will improve your metabolism.

With the help of protein, we can build our body efficiently and we can be more active and energetic. When you go on a weight loss program and if you take high protein foods, you won’t get tired and will be active as usual. It also helps in weight loss by keeping your stomach full and hunger free for long time. You can even take fresh fruits and veggies along with high protein food like eggs etc.

Eggs hold the maximum quality protein found in any food because they offer all the necessary amino acids your body requires in a perfect way. You can say eggs as storage for proteins and can consume food in combination with eggs.

You can even opt for protein shakes. It tastes different and you too will enjoy its taste and at the same time you consume protein rich food.

Protein is an essential nutrient required by every person on a daily basis. Protein is made up of necessary and unnecessary amino acids, which are the structure blocks for healthy bodies. The only way you can get high protein foods is intake of high proteins in the diet. Even the protein powders are complete proteins.

When there is any post-weight-loss operation, the patients have difficulty absorbing nutrients, and the proteins are required more for them than in general.

I always visit http://www.foodandrecipes.info to get some good ideas for finding healthy protein
rich foods and their recipes. The site always offers a feast with scores of ideas and recipes to my taste buds without letting me put on more weight.

So this is an entry I put up a year ago that was originally a reply on another person's blog who has since left.

I just wanted to let y'all know

Drinking blood is actually not bad for you at all unless there is some sort of STD in it or you drink two pints or more of it. And, if the blood doesn't have any diseases or viruses in it, it's not neccessarily bad for you to drink more than two pints. The reason people think it is is because it makes you vomit, and the reason drinking two pints of blood, (and eating a raw heart can do this too), is because of this:

Blood contains a lot of protein in it, and so do fresh hearts, whether they be human, deer, etc. If one were to eat a raw heart or drink two pints or more of blood, human or other, their stomach would over load on protein. Because the body does not know how to handle this mass amount of protein, it rejects it. In other words, you vomit. However, two pints is a lot of blood to drink, and not many people eat raw hearts of any kind except for first time hunters, cannibals, and even some religious denominations, but that's it.

So while drinking blood isn't bad for you, it can just be unsafe. Other than that, i agree, its my life, and if cutting my boyfriend and licking up his trail of blood freaks you out, fuck you. I like it, and so does he.

Sorry if this was boring, i just wanted all the close minded cunts out there to know that drinking blood has no health risks other than the potential contration of an STD, and that's it. While that is a large risk to take, the only blood i would be injesting woule be Nam's and i know that he's clean and safe. I don't feel like lecturing people and telling them that the "it won't happen to me" mentality is bullshit, cuz believe me, if you think that way, it will happen to you!! but i'm not here to lecture, so yeah, that's all i have to say on that."
