George A. Romero's DIARY OF THE DEAD

I JUST FOUND OUT about this! It's not a sequel or a remake, it's an all new independent film from my favorite zombie filmmaker, George A. Romero:

DIARY of the DEAD

Why can't I get enough of zombies?

Blog Themes Coming to Your Mindsay: they may be yours if they are approved!

Just added:

Plaid: a warm and cool theme based on a plaid pattern.
Chessboard: a simple black & white design for intellectual bloggers.
Nightmare: the title says it all; the painting is by Henry Fuseli, 'The Nightmare' circa 1781.
Olive & Wine: this theme uses the color scheme of the Nightmare theme, but has no header. For those who like the colors but don't want such a big header at top.
Rock Garden: lots of nice gray with brown and navy link colors to offset this theme based on natural stone colors.
Library: perfect for book reviews, in orange golds, browns, and old book page yellows.
Dark Faerie: Best to be used for those who like Victorian romances and ghost stories, too.  The color scheme is gold, orange red, brown -- the colors of an old painting with an ornate bronze frame with a slight other worldly green highlight.  The plug-in titles should be short and sweet, as you will notice that the labels only allow for so much room.
Flora & Fauna: simple animal and floral theme with clean white, toasty brown red, cool teal, and grass green colors.
Incense: a theme with cool lavender and lilac tones subdued by creamy smoke beige.
Wild Floral:  blog theme with just footer, no header -- like a box of flowers planted under your words.
Swirls: simple, clean scrolls and swirls
Lotus: I originally had the lotus sitting on the bottom of the blog as a footer, but I think it looks much better as a header.
Choco Dots: Milk Chocolate, mint green, and frosting pinks make this theme almost good enough to eat.
Lucky Charms: looks just like an old baby blanket for those bloggers who want something pastel soft and sweet.

Submitted earlier:

Squid: This lil' buddy swims in deep, dark waters. Created at the request of nubeat

Rose Journal: a sweet, simple theme for love letters. Easily customizable for those who want something delicate.
Rose Thorns: Is a very sexy and romantic theme utilizing a new CSS trick I learned; it has a footer as well as a header image! Just like the following...
Natural: Expect more new themes like this one -- utilizing both a footer and header to create a frame. It was a real headache to figure out, but I finally got it right.

What to expect from me next:  Lighter colored themes, simple themes, themes with a retro twist, more themes without headers but have footers, and an incense theme.  Come back on Tuesday or leave a request here.

Other themes I've posted for review you may have missed:
Muskie!

Houston, Texas!
Cassette Tape
Moroccan
Chili Peppers
Summer Lovin'

Preview my new blog themes!

I can't wait for some of these themes to get accepted!  Mindsay's been a little slow accepting themes.  Perhaps because there may be too many submissions?  Who knows...

And now for the Valentine's Day themes:
Chas & Bubba
Rose Lover
Lonely Rose
Weird Guy

And then there's this one I did just for the Mindsay fans:
Busy Phone

Well, lastly I think I finally got these right:

Snow Angel
Climbing Ivy

New blog themes I'm working on (because I'm bored)

The following blog theme was one that I haven't come up with a thumbnail image for. It's sort of a color theme that I call: Cool Stripes

I got the idea to do some blog themes related to the design work I've done for several Mindsay Wiki pages. Cool Stripes was inspired by the work I did for the Dominic Monaghan wiki page.

Here's more blog themes I've done based on other wiki pages I've had a hand in designing...
LOST v.2 is based on the latest version of the LOST Mindsay wiki page
Hobbit Hole based on the Lord of the Rings Mindsay wiki page
Black Lodge is based on the Twin Peaks Mindsay wiki page

Ones that aren't based on any wiki pages I've done:

Gothic Blue
Foil

Now, for some reason, some of my old and rather new blog themes aren't being accepted because the text is hard to read.  I've never had this problem before and I'm not sure how to fix it.  Let me know if the following themes don't look right:

Seaweed
Glass Bottoms
Moldy Wall
Fire

Roman Woman
Climbing Ivy
Old Velvet

Painted
Peacock
Frozen
Aurora
Rusty Wall
Snow Angel
Holly
