Playlist @ MindSay
It was me, Best Friend, Dani, Dani's cousin Chelsey, and B.
We saw Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.
To sum it all up:
Movie = very, very good. I recommend it to everyone.
B and I = um....better.
In a way.
I wasn't sure if going to the movies would solve my problem or make it worse, but I'm thinking that it was the former and not the latter. I mean, the whole way home I felt high (induced from making out, most obviously), and even today I feel a little dazed.
I miss him, and his touch and everything.
The scariest part of this?
It's very foreign. I don't know what this means. I've never had feelings like this before.
(i'm not in love, am i? like totally ew gross no way.)
Don't ask.
Anyway, Best Friend spent the night at my house and we stayed up until 3 in the morning doing stupid shit...we made a video that was an hour and half long!
I doubt if I'll post it. It's pretty stupid.
Anyway.
I have to go back to school tomorrow...yuck.
How was everyone's weekend?
(:

Well, last night, as I was taking the last few turns on the Bowser's Gnarly Party board, whilst responding to some posts on my forum - I got the craving to start a new game of Pokémon Diamond.
So whilst I was waiting for the slow-as-shit computers to take their turns, I opened up Pokésav and Serebii.net - and started making a team of six hacked monsters that I wanted to be my main team throughout the game.
I gave them high-level moves and high levels of IV and EV points too. Of course, I made them look legit, giving them the right natures, correct areas and the right abilities.
I hacked the following:
Espeon - "Emily" - level 8
Jolteon - "Spike" - level 8
Grimer - "Sticky" - level 10
Cyndaquil - "Volvic" - level 8
Piplup - level 5 - shiny
And my favourite ownage monster:
Rattftratz! - Level 1 Rattata with a focus sash, quick attack and endeavor! :)
I also altered my ID number, so it was the same one as my LeafGreen game - 24606.
I love that number, and I think it suits me well. :)
Heh, I've just noticed, it starts with the first numbers of my birthdate too.
I've been playing it for about six hours now.
I've even gone to the trouble of hacking some Mew, Palkia, Turtwig, Piplup and Chimchar for the greedy bastards on the GTS.
It won't let me trade my Palkia though - which is typical, because I caught 7 of them at level 99.
Humph. Nothing ever changes.
Either way, Adam came over today - and we spent most of the day sat about, eating chocolate and drinking Cherry Coke.
Then we turned on Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, and played a few 2P VS matches - then I was asked to play with my Chao.
I don't see what's so interesting about watching someone play with Chao... But.
Yeah, I did a bit of that, and completed a few more missions - but I'm getting to the point of the game now where I proper can't do anything else - the missions I have left to do are sodding ridiculous.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, I'm back on Mario Party 4 at the moment.
I've done about 10 turns of Shy Guy's Jungle Jam - responding to forum posts whilst I wait for the computers.
I'm getting towards the end of the board now, as I'm writing this as Luigi, Daisy and Mario are messing about with mega mushrooms, running over star spots because they're retard CPUs on Normal difficulty. :)
This time, I'm playing through as Waluigi.
I've done it with Peach, Daisy and Wario, so I'm onto Waluigi next.
Then I'll do DK, so I've done the bottom row of characters. :)
As we all know, the Mario Party music gets so annoying and repetitive after a while - so I've made myself a playlist.
OMFG... I JUST WON 100 COINS IN THE LOTTERY SHOP!!!
Yeah, the coin star is TOTALLY in the bag. :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But yes, as I was saying, the playlist. :)

OMFG, LUIGI JUST STOLE MY STAR - THE LITTLE SHIT!
NOW I'M SECOND!
Not that it matters, of course... I'm going to win the mini-game star and the coin star, because Normal level CPUs are total retards.
Now this is multi-tasking at its finest. :)
I'm currently playing Mario Party 4, whilst listening to music.
I'm also on my PC.
For the past hour, and for the future several hours - I'm also going to be writing this blog, responding to forum posts, reading fan fiction, organising music, downloading stuff and maybe even doing a bit of writing and/or planning.
ROFL!
A MINI GAME STARTED WITHOUT ME NOTICING, AND I DIDN'T REALISE TILL 10 SECONDS IN - AND I STILL BEAT ALL THREE OF THEM!
Normal CPU retards! :D
Lmao, I have 218 coins, and it's the last turn. Eee. :)
In (mostly) no particular order, varying styles.
- Feeling Good - Michael Buble
" And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me"
Everything should be approached feeling good, and this kickass song just really puts me in a 'close your eyes and sing along' mood. You should feel good on valentines day as well, even though you may have a sweetheart!
- Please send me someone to love - Fiona Apple
" Just because I am in misery
I don't beg for no sympathy"
Classy feel. Her voice is very pleasant. I really like this song, for some reason I imagine one of those older elegant women, with smooth black hair tied back, and heavy make up (black eyeliner, outrageously red lips) who sits alone and smokes those long cigarettes and drinks sweet cherry wine with dark bitter chocolate.
- I don't need a man - Pussycat dolls.
"I don't need a man to make it happen
I get off being free"
Ok, this song is like written for this soundtrack. And a good response for the woman above.
- What is love - Haddaway
" I give you my love, but you don't care "
What is love? I got no clue. This song is about unreturned love (I think at least, I am bad with lyrics). I'm sure there are a lot heart broken people out there though who had their heartbroken, love unreturned, who are angry and disappointed. for who, Valentines day only reminds of that. Also this song been stuck in my head for 2 days now.
- Somebody to love - Queen
"Can anybody find me somebody to love?"
It's by queen, it sounds great. But anyone other than me thinks this guy and the gal from song # 2 should totally get together? I mean both pray for some divine intervention to send them someone. If only they went out there and made an effort to create opportunity to meet that other person perhaps they would! But of course who doesn't like everything handed to him on a silver plate.
- I miss you - Bjork
"I miss you
but i haven't met you yet
so special
but it hasn't happened yet"
I haven't met him (or her) yet, either. Familiar feeling, sometimes I also imagine what would it be like if I did! I often can relate to Bjork's songs. In my opinion her more Romantic 'pro love' songs are much better like Bachlorette (my fave, go listen to it now if you haven't), All is full of love (watch the music video, I mean lesbian androids, how cool is that?) and it's oh so quiet (I think this one is the most familiar to people). This song however, I felt fit the best, and had a funny music video to boot!
- Sleep with myself - Prozzak
" Although I'm really quite fond of you
My best intentions never turn out right
I'd rather sleep with myself tonight"
The first time I heard this was at my friend's b-day party. We were in junior high or high school, don't recall. Struck me as funny. Reflects my attitude just a bit. Like in the song, love seems to be a losing game for me, so I'll leave it alone.
- Owner of a lonely heart - Yes
"There's no real reason to be lonely
Be yourself
Give your free will a chance
You've got to want to succeed"
- Lonely day - Phantom planet
"Rise and shine rub the sleep out of my eyes
And try to tell myself I can't go back to bed.
It's gonna be a lonely lonely lonely lonely day"
Yeah, and Valentines day is one of those days people feel especially lonely after seeing all the flower and chocolate lovey dovey pumpkin pie couples.
- You wont be mine - matchbox 20
" Over the lies, you'll be strong
You'll be rich in love and you will carry on
But no - oh no
No you won't be mine"
Gosh, one of my favorites in this list. so powerful in a way. And yeah, I been friends with some, and been their crutch when they were down, but its not me they go home with in the end of the day. never me.
- Painted on my heart - The cult
" And after all this time
I still can't let go
I've still got your face
Painted on my heart"
But, having another one of those days where I'm required to stay in one place, I thought I'd scribble the playlist down for observation. The mental music player is always set on random - the actual cue to go to the next song on a cd doesn't happen until the last twelve seconds of the song, and I usually don't get there. So, just gleaned from the wealth of music in the memory files, chosen with very little apparent motivation.
So,
Meat Loaf - Cry Over Me
Rolling Stones - Paint It Black (this lasted for a little over an hour. I was not a happy person.)
Newsboys - Givin' It Over (a rare reflection of action in song)
Newsboys - Joy
"Battle Cry" - (from my history of cheerleading)
Call and Answer - Barenaked Ladies
Can't Wait to Be King - Lion King
Song4Tricia - Superchic[k]
I Want You - Savage Garden
Be True To Your School - Beach Boys
George Winston - Living in the Country
Rooftop Singers - Walk Right In
"Singin' In the Rain" - mostly the intro, I like the light swinginess
Burlap To Cashmere - Anybody Out There
...and ended with a rather syncopated variation on the Winnie The Pooh song.
Since the mental music player has a tendency to stay focused on a particular phrase or section of each song, or select them at random from inside the song, over seven hours, this is what I heard.
I want you to CRY OVER ME, DIE OVER ME, just one tah-ime..
I see a red door and I want it painted black
I see a line of cars and they are painted black
I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes
I have to turn my head until my darkness goes
No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue
I could not foresee this thing happening to you
I was flat on my back, I'd slid 'til it hurt
You put my head in the clouds and my feet in good dirt
My head in the clouds and my feet in good...
Dirt Devils were crowding my head with lies they spread
They convinced me of what fools know isn't true
Quick as an Outkast rhyme you took me back in time
Back to the first love I ever knew
If life is water I was dry as Tucson dirt
If it's a gamble I'd already lost my shirt
If it's a journey I was dazed without a clue
I flipped a U back to the first love I ever knew
You give me joy that's unspeakable
And I like it, and I like it, yeah
Your love for me's irresistible
I can't fight it, I can't fight it, yeah
You carried the cross and took my shame
I believe it, I believe it, yeah
You shine your light of amazing grace
I receive it, I receive it, yeah
First grade, first grade, don't be shy
Stand and give your battle cry
V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!
That's the first grade battle cry
Soph'mores, Soph'mores, don't be shy
Stand and give your battle cry
V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!
That's the Soph'more battle cry
Panthers, panthers...
Tigers, tigers...
Band geeks, band geeks...
Pastors, pastors...
Grandma, grandma... (as you can see, this can be used just about anywhere - and was)
I think it's getting to the point where I can be myself again
And if you call, I will answer
If you fall, I'll pick you up
If you court this disaster,
I'll point you home
I'm gonna be a mighty king, so enemies, beware!
Well, I've never seen a king or beast with quite so little hair
I'm gonna be the mane event, like no king was before
I'm brushing up on looking down; I'm working on my roar!
(Thus far a rather uninspiring thing.)
Oh, I just can't wait to be king!
You've rather a long way to go, young master, if you think
All princes start as frogs
And all gentlemen as dogs
Just wait 'til it's plain to see
What they're growing up to be
Anytime I need to see your face, I just close my eyes
And I am taken to the place where your crystal mind
And magenta feelings take up shelter in the base of my spine
Sweet like a chica cherry cola
I don't need to explain, I just hold on tight
And if it happens again, I might move so slightly
To the arms and the lips of The Human Cannonball
That I need to, I want to
So be true to your school (Rah Rah Rah Rah, Sis-boom-bah)
Just like you would to your girl or guy
Be true to your school now
Let your colors fly
Dun da-dun da-dun dah da-dah,
Dun da-dun da-dun dah da-dah (instrumental)
Walk right in, sit right down,
Daddy let your mind roll on
Everybody's talking 'bout a new way of walkin'
Do you want to lose your mind?
What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again!
Sometimes while I'm driving, trying to find my song
Looking for the answers, and where I do belong
Chubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff
Silly willy-nilly old bear!
I have yet to work out whether mood influences music, or music influences mood. I suspect music reflects mood, but when I'm in a bad mood and working to change it, I take off the "random" setting and deliberately search for stuff - mostly praise - that's likely to get me out of it.
Today started off absolutely foul - I have delayed reactions to many things in my life, and it's the first time I've been so aggressively angry on this one that I just couldn't deal with the emotions. I recall, mentally, tightly balling everything that had anything to do with Cheryl into a tight little sphere, and repeatedly jumping on it so that it wouldn't uncoil.
Of course, I see kids at work, and they get you to loosen up. And I'd actually been asking God to take this one. I'm still fighting with giving it over to him, but I know I need to. It took until about halfway through my shift to get back to something resembling "normal" (I don't think I'm capable of staying "down" for more than a few hours), but it happened.
So, that was my day at work. How's yours?
