So I finished my dress... I took the dress I wore sophomore year, cut the bottom layer off of it, sewed the lining up so you couldn't see it, then realized I wasn't the best at sewing just cut the lining short enough, took the remaing two layers and added a light pink ribbon to the end of them, ironed the ribbon after I sewed it so it would lay nice, then realized that one part of the ribbon on the second layer had a rip in it so I resowed that ribbon... ironed it again, cut more ribbon into six pieces and sowed it by hand onto my pink flower pin, then pinned that too the right top by the strap and finito, my dress it done. Then I took my black flat sandles and glued a piece of pink ribbon to the top of them so they match my dress perfectly.
I suppose it looks good, guess I won't know till Saturday when everyone tells me..
Now all that is left is to make my toga.... oh and you can me a toga with a sheet as long as you have 2 sheets, fold them in half and safety pin them together and you have the right length and the 6 yards of fabric you need.... so my toga shall still be pink and tie dye, pretty excited for toga day since I am going to the district meeting straight from school, I am thinking of just leaving my toga on for the meeting.... and be all like omg I forgot my change of cloths!!! Lmao :) :) :)
I suppose over all I am glad to be going to homecoming...
now let it get here so I can get on with the dancing!!! <3<3<3<3
