Pimps @ MindSay
All Bishop needs is a little one on time with Britney and he'll get her off of that 5 bags of Cheeto's a day habit she's got and turn her into a top flight earner.
Sup ya'll!

How desensitized are we to the ill treatment of women and girls in our culture?
Here is the thing for me...now a while ago I complained to a friend about a song by Three6 Mafia called "It's Hard Out There For A Pimp" and the movie that hailed it as its anthem "Hustle and Flow".
Now I dont know how hard it is for a pimp to live off of the backs of the women they put on the stroll but I bet it aint half as hard as blowing and screwing a buncha bastards for as little as 10 bucks a pop (for lack of a better word or perhaps that's the perfect word).
This movied showed marginalized women further demoralized by their pimp or "daddy" as they worked and he tried to get paid as a rap artist.
In what way was it hard for him if the women did all the work AND him whenever the mood hit him?
Now dont get me wrong, some parts of the movie were worth five minutes but on the whole it perpetuated the pimp culture that is prevelant in our society today.
And the fact that that damn song won an award still Burns me up (for so many other reasons as well)! So much so that I wrote a 15 page treatment of it and it's lyrics and the attitudes of the commercial gangsta rap and hip hop culture....Now I know many of you are all comfy reading this right now because it is an attack on hip-hop and it is oh so easy to blame rap, rock or metal on the ills of the world but the truth is that music is but one small section of the issue to be sure....
Think about commercials... make-up adds that have women half naked even though they are selling shampoo...WTF?
Or how about toys... dolls now come with acoutrements that would shame even the chestiest Barbie!
Hell I saw a commercial for barbeque sauce that had a woman in a thong bikini and heels...now unless she is grillin her own thighs rather than one from a chicken, I dont get it!
“Once you dehumanize somebody, everything is possible,” said Taina Bien-Aimé, executive director of the women’s advocacy group Equality Now.
So a friend sent me an article that I think might inspire some righteous debate. It is about the attitudes we have as a society of women and girls.

Sound off, french a sistah and be as safe as one can!
WARNING: ADULTS ONLY!
You have to be really savy these days to be a responsible consumer. If you care at all who you're giving your money to or what you're supporting, you have to do a little research. Over at Rupert Murcoch's MySpace there is a public relations campaign underway. It's disguised as a socially responsibile action in response to the sexual predator scandals of late, but is really little more that the equivalent of fast-food nutrition labels - we already knew it was shit. In this case, as most others, it's corporate shit.
I think it's disconcerting when you examine the corporate entanglements of US businesses and the hypocricy of government regulation. Microsoft is forever having the "monopoly" finger pointed at them, but what about other monster conglomerates like the News Corp. Take a look at the list of what the it owns and operates:
Television
Fox Broadcasting Company
Fox Television Stations - Thirty-five televisions stations.
Journalism - Twenty-nine newspapers.
Publishing Companies - Forty-two.
Misc. - Mushroom Records, MySpace.com and the National Rugby League.
And that's not a monopoly? How could you expect them to mind the store at MySpace when their store is practically the whole world? That they remove 200k objectionable profiles while 250k new users sign up every day is less than a token gesture of social responsibility. And then it was only done to placate the arousal of the media they don't own. And the media they do own is probably yours.
I have repeated numerous times here the Catch-22 of "otherwise objectionable" material. Everything you blog today could become otherwise objectionable material tommorrow, and thus be removed. Not even your username is really yours. The "My" in MySpace refers not to the individual, but to the corporation. And, possibly the "Mind" in Mindsay refers to "mind" as in "do what I say".
Fellow blogger-citizens, it may be prudent to consider you may as well be writing on a public wall somewhere. That wall is owned by someone who will eventually erase it, or sell the wall to another corporation. Mindsay is not a humanitarian organization. Do you think they built and run this service to make the world a better place? No! They have their own thinly disguised social-consciousness claims. It's a business, and I would venture to guess they would hope to make it a viable acquisition for a large corporation thus turning a profit. What is in the name is mostly $$$.
P.S.
While News Corp.'s recently acquired MySpace.com is thriving in its current form, the media giant already is devising plans to make the site even stickier and more profitable, possibly by acquiring so-called 'Web 2.0' properties, enabling transactions between members and adding subscription offers.
Well here we are, another new year. Another year of saying how much we are going to do, another year of saying how much we are going to change. Maybe this year, I will just stay the same. I'm pretty happy with the person that I am. I'm not saying that I'm all that anyone can be, I'm just saying I like myself. Last night we all went out to some random bars here in this little town called Owosso. It didn't suck all that bad, you had those people that got drunk way to fast and you had people who were just plain sober. No matter which way you went I hope everyone had fun. Unfortunately, the dj didn't know that at midnight you play Ole Lang Sine. (Spelling Might be Off, but who cares, and if you do, you should not be at my blog) So the night felt a little off. After the ball fell like it always does, everyone starting kissing one another. ( If anyone knows, who came up with the whole kissing thing, let me know) Some old friends came in, they did a theme of Pimps and Hoes. I have to say they all looked great, that and I got to see a lot of boobys all night long.
Alright, this is becoming my longest blog so I will end on this note. No matter what other people are changing or what you think might sound good next time your with your friends and they are talking about losing weight or quitting smoking. Maybe just this once, we can just be happy with what we worked so hard to get the year before. I'm sure, everyone has a great person in them somewhere, let that person hang out for awhile, you might like it!
I'm trying to download my pics from last night, when I do who ever wants to see some small town bar pics come back.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
