Wondering what it means.
I had a bizarre dream before I woke up today. (You can skip reading this if you want to go right to the pictures.) It took place at what looked like a mall combined with a school. There was a prom going on but all of the dresses & outfits the people were wearing were Halloween themed. (I did get some neat ideas for outfits to create)
I walked into the store and saw some neat clothes but didn't like the prices so I continued to browse. I stopped and took out a pencil and started drawing a line and at the end of the line the pencil had a mind of it's curving off to the side hitting a pendant.
A lady at the counter looked at me and claimed that pendant was choosing me. I picked it up and it was round pewter looking. On either side of the pendant it had intriguing designs very similar to these.
Each time I flipped the pendant in the air the design would change. I found it so amazing. It also began changing metals too. Bronze, copper and even silver it morphed at each flip. One of the symbols it showed me was actually a scene of two men sitting or even working on a log in front of a castle. They were one the bank of a river and it was clear that the castle was in the process of being repaired or just after a war and it was in disrepair.
The woman who originally showed the pendant told me that it was no longer for sale. She wanted it for herself and I told her that she couldn't do that considering she had to purchase it on her time. She conceded and handed it over while telling me it was $3.50. I went to pay but pulled out a dollar in the shape of a bat. I was saddened to see that this was all the money I had but lucky for me a friend of mine walked by and I asked to borrow the money from them.
So the pendant was purchased and I was excited to keep trying it out. I wanted to figure out what it was telling me and explained the process to a family member who was with me. An Indian fellow(not Native American) overheard me and wanted me to try it out on them. I didn't really want to but I gave in.
Walking over to a display of incense & salts I asked which of these would be best for him. I flipped it then hung it down so it could point like a pendulum. The sign of the Saggitarian(my sign) made an arrow to some sea salts mixed in with Jasper.
That's about it for my dream but I wanted to write it down before it was forgotten. I'm curious as to what it means because it was so detailed and gave a lot of information. Anyone want to take a stab at an interpretations?
As promised here are the pictures.

Another reflection of the Thai pagoda.

And one more where the water was being moved by the wind.

It's me!

Okay, well I should make something to eat or decide what to do for dinner. I'm hungry!

Wanting to be lost in teh humid air again.
A vain little toad that hung out by the reflecting pond.

Dates.

These are pretty amazing flowers. I think I may have to look into getting some for my backyard.

I've been catching up emotionally & sleep wise yesterday and was planning to sleep for a very long time. I woke up with a sharp pain in my neck that wont go away sadly. I did manage to take a nice hot bath and it helped for a while. I'll live.
Guess I'm up early today. This was not something I wanted but at least I played Fable II for a while. YAY!
I'm still trying to figure out a Halloween costume. I have at least one or two backup plans but I'm hoping for that ray of light.

Back on track.
Things are much better with our close family friend. He almost died the first night and was put on a respirator & feeding tube. Now he is free of the respirator and is awake and talking finally. He's a bit grumpy and they had to put restraints back on him but I think given the situation who wouldn't want to try to take out tubes stuck to, and in, the body?
He was quite upset when he was told that his cat couldn't be brought to the hospital. He is still sedated some so he is a bit loopy still. Yesterday he requested at least a picture of his kitty. Last night I went over and took some pics of the cat for them. :D
We are still hoping and praying for things to improve and he is able to come home soon. Financially things will be very tough for them so any good thoughts, prayers and well wishes would be appreciated.
I finally had a chance to upload my many pictures. I have pictures from Olbrich Gardens when we visited two and half weeks ago so you can imagine how busy I've been.
I have about 37 pictures of the gardens so expect a post a day with these pictures in small groups of 5 or so.
ENJOY & Stay tuned for more!

Late for the summer this one probably wont make it. :(

Can you believe that this is actually a reflection in a pool of water?

Savannah also brought her camera.

Monkey...
A play and soundtrack of Monkey: Journey to the West. It's the classic Chinese story (but put as a theatrical opera) of Monkey but mixed up with modern music from the creators of Gorillaz.
I listened to some of the music and surprisingly I was hooked. What do you think?
Methinks I shall purchase this when the funds become available. :D I'm kind of excited about this now and am wishing I could see the opera in London. I hope it comes to the USA. I'd so be there!
So, besides that, here are more pictures!

The majority of these pictures were taken in Delavan.

Did you count his toes??

Hunting the mighty fiberglass giraffe in the wilds of Wisconsin.

Well back to trying to figure out what to do on this Saturday night. *sigh*

Pictures!!

Because Oscar loves his comments.

On that day, previously mentioned, we stopped at a local hole-in-the-wall diner. I had a gyro and Josh had these.

Some tomatoes I'm drying out. :D

I had to do this. :D haha. I loved how they turned out at yearbookyourself.com. (Ooooh! In 1968 I looked like Dr. Girlfriend from The Venture Brothers!)
