The Gothic Mistress and I tried to have a romance cover / photoshop contest, but there were no takers. I decided to take one of the original covers she provided and play with it a bit. Since I don't have Photoshop on my laptop, I had to make do with a very inferior image editor program. However, I did have fun coming up with a twist on the original cover. :P

If more paperback romance novels had covers like these, I'd read them, and, if there were a lot of sex happenin' in them, even more would be well in the world!

I came across the funniest website the other day when I was looking for an image to post for my "Bring it Already" post. It makes fun of the cheesy art on romance novels. Personally, I like romance novel art. I actually collect prints of my favorite covers. Yes, I know. I'm a dork.
