Phantom of the Opera - Emmy Rossum & Gerard Butler - Past the Point of No Return

Past the point of no return -
no backward glances:
our games of make believe now are at an end
Past all thought of "if" or "when" -
no use resisting: abandon thought, and let the dream descend

What raging fire shall flood the soul?
What rich desire unlocks its door?
What sweet seduction lies before us?

Past the point of no return,
the final threshold - what warm, unspoken secrets will we learn?
Beyond the point of no return

You have brought me to that moment where words run dry,
to that moment where speech disappears into silence,
silence

I have come here, hardly knowing
the reason why
In my mind,
I've already imagined our bodies entwining
defenceless and silent - and now I am here with you: no second thoughts,

I've decided, decided

Past the point of no return -
no going back now:
our passion-play has now, at last, begun
Past all thought of right or wrong -
one final question: how long should we two wait, before we're one?

When will the blood begin to race the sleeping bud burst into bloom?
When will the flames, at last, consume us?
Past the point of no return the final threshold -
the bridge is crossed, so stand and watch it burn
We've passed the point of no return

Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime
Lead me, save me from my solitude
Say you want me with you, here beside you
Anywhere you go let me go too -

Christine that's all I ask of

Phantom of the Opera!

Tonight is the first night I've seen any live performance of...anything, really, and the fact that it's the Phantom of the Opera makes me very excited :D:D

I'm a bit tired though because I was woken up earlier than usual by the stupid neighbor that hates us overrevving her engine....hahaha.  She has no power steering and her belt is incredibly squeaky.  I also heard her starter, it's on its way down the crapper...hah.

My hips hurt terribly...I know it'll only get worse as I get closer to giving birth, but oh well :P

I must go clean....how is everybody?

The Phantom of the Opera - All I Ask Of You

RAOUL:
No more talk of darkness,
Forget these wide-eyed fears.
I'm here, nothing can harm you -
My words will warm and calm you.

Let me be your freedom,
Let daylight dry your tears.
I'm here, with you, beside you,
To guard you and to guide you...

CHRISTINE:
Say you love me every waking moment,
Turn my head with talk of summertime
Say you need me with you, now and always
Promise me that all you say is true
That's all I ask of you...

RAOUL:
Let me be your shelter,
Let me be your light.
You're safe. No one will find you
Your fears are far behind you

CHRISTINE:
All I want is freedom,
A world with no more night
And you, always beside me,
To hold me and to hide me...

RAOUL:
Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime
Let me lead you from your solitude
Say you need me with you here, beside you
Anywhere you go, let me go too

Christine, that's all I ask of you...

CHRISTINE:
Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime
Say the word and I will follow you

BOTH:
Share each day with me, each night, each morning

CHRISTINE:
Say you love me...

RAOUL:
You know I do...

BOTH:
Love me, that's all I ask of you

Anywhere you go let me go too
Love me, that's all I ask of you...

Missing my groove...

Hey all...

Well, well, well...seems vacation is over and it's back to making mud bricks all day long.  *Scwack*...*crack*...*snap* goes the whip.  Make dim bricks boy!!!  Ah, the sounds of love and mutual respect in the work place.

Any-who...vacation was nice and my time with baby girl was special.  Got to see things and go places, but just spending some time with her is always the best.  Mmmmm...such a nice and warm fuzzy feeling from it all.  We did manage to make down for our annual river trip / floating festival and once again we were able to avoid all of the toothless goobers out selling their fresh opossum road kill jerky.  Ooooweee....nothing like some fresh sun dried and naturally seasoned critter snacks to make the journey a memorable one.

Never-the-less, the weeks off had some great times, some good times and once again, some events that make you just roll your eyes back and say...."WTF".  Then of course there was the highway rest stop fiasco in which I thought that I was going to loose one or two of my senses before getting away.  Yes, once again I was attacked by the traveling Rest Stop Phantom.  Seems that while I was taking a little stretch out time in the handicap stall (of course that is the best place to use because you have so much more room to maneuver around in) the Phantom must have snuck in after me and hid in one of the other stalls.  Much to my surprise, he had to have dropped a gia-normous atomic silent stink bomb and before the cloud of smoke could drift my way...poof, he was gone.  Once the hairs in my nose began to burn and curl up in my nasal cavity and my eyes began to water...I knew it was too late.  I knew that I couldn't hold my breath long enough to get my own items in order and get out the door without possibly losing consciousness if I didn't hurry.  Let the scramble begin!  Of course, I do not know if it was worse trying to get out of there by running through the fog that was left behind, or the look the guy gave me as he was walking in the door thinking that I was the one who was trying to melt the paint off the walls.

Take it from me...driving with the windows down really can help in a situation like that.  At least it helps to blow the funky odor out of your clothes.

More stories of mishaps and mayhem to come from vacation time with Snigglefritz.  Weeeeeee!!!!

Anyway, now it's time to get back to the daily grind and to finally catch up with folks.  I hope that everyone has a super-duper day!

Phantom
The missionaries are so great. Elder Crossley can play piano, and he came over and brought the sheet music for Phantom of the Opera. He let me borrow the book overnight. If only I could sing opera! It's terrible, I just went through the whole book playing only the melody and singing. I wish I could do that music justice. I love the whole thing about the Phantom. It a dark, gothic tale, with a generally creepy outlook on everything. Andrew Lloyd Webber is like that. Les Mis is the same way. Actually, in some creepy way, the Phantom reminds me of Ja Vert. So yes, again, I am in love! I think when I go to Utah I'll buy the sheet music and CD's and movie and everything! I wish I could see it on stage too, but the movie is fabulous, well it's my favorite movie.
