Petunias @ MindSay

This year my mom gave me a bunch of seeds she took off her petunias. She thought they would all be a dark purple red. And we planted them in a couple of pots and a long green planter. Mom told me to plant all the seeds as she didn't think they would all come up and that would insure that some did. Well she was wrong. They all came up. The pots and planter were so crowded that most of the flowers would die if not transplanted. So we transplanted. To other pots and to spots all around my yard. My mom expected many of them to die. She was wrong again lol. It seems so far that 99 percent of them are going to live. Some of them are blooming already. So far the flowers are dark purple or dark red. So she was right too. Sometimes it's nice to be wrong. Sometimes it's nice to be right. It's good when they both happen in the best combination. We got lucky. Now we have petunias comeing up everywhere. Anyone want some? 

Just in case the bees don't make it maybe we should all stock up on Honey while there is still plenty of it around.

 

Today was shopping day for me. I got some potting soil because I am going to have to move some of the petunias I planted in pots this year. Every single seed seems to have come up and the pots are way too crowded. So I am going to move some out in the yard around the fence or maybe in some bare spots around trees. And I will put more soil in the pots..and still have plenty in there to make my porch look nice.

 

I also got a new cheap wristwatch. I got a cheap one because it's what I wear when I am doing gardening or housework and it gets wet and banged around so I don't want a really good one for that.

 

Other than that it was just your normal groceries. I stocked up on flour and sugar. And I bought too many sweets :( Why must they put the pastry section right next to the fruits???? It's just mean!!
