Peter @ MindSay
By far as a result of the Jewish protests Pope Benedict XVI has halted beatification of Pius XII. Tensions are heightening between Vatican & Israel. According to Rev. Peter Gumpel, a Jesuit priest who is directing beatification efforts the pope would not visit Israel until a plaque criticizing Pius XII is removed from Israel’s Yad Vashem Holocaust museum.
Halting the beatification of Pius XII doesn't mean that Vatican is abonding the Pope's legacy. Last year, the Vatican passed a decree recognizing Pius’s heroic virtues, a key step toward sainthood, but Pope Benedict XVI has not yet approved the decree. Earlier this month, Pope Benedict XVI said Pope Pius XII had worked secretly & silently to save Jews & that he hoped the beatification can proceed happily.
Can now some one tell me why the people are making unnecessary controversies when the world needs whichever peace that is needed - whether between Nations or between Religions?
This weeks episode titled "I Am Become Death" is set 4 years into the future. First, Matt Parkman is induced by a substance to see the future, so we end up in the future via Matt Parkman. Then, picking up from last weeks ending, future Peter Petrelli arrives in the future with Peter Petrelli from the present. We end up in the future through multiple angles and I'll definitely have to watch this again to get a better grasp on this.
Upon arriving in the future Peter Petrelli from this future is shot down and killed by Claire Bennet leaving Peter Petrelli from our time to fend for himself. He escapes Claires wrath and then seeks out our mysterious genetics professor Mohinder Suresh, where he promptly pulls information out of Mohinders mind leading him next to Sylar. Sylar, a once ordinary timepiece restorer dreaming of a chance to become special, explains to Peter that he's his brother. Peter doesn't seem very shocked by this. Sylar now has a young child he's raising named Noah of all names. Peter tells Sylar he's here to take Sylars powers upon himself in order to save the world. Sylar winds up teaching Peter how to use his power. Claire and her band of evil cohorts show up to kill Peter and instead only succeed in killing Sylars son. I mean Gabriels son, as he is no longer Sylar. In an eerily similar manner to the first season finale Sylar then loses control of his nuclear power and blows up the entire city of Costa Verde.
Our Peter escapes this destruction and can be found in the morgue staring at his future dead self. Claire begins to torture him when Nathan arrives and takes things into his hands. Nathan decides to let Peter go, but this isn't enough for Peter. He now has Sylars insatiable hunger for more powers and to understand how everything works. Peter proceeds to cut off his brother Nathans head and take his power. He then teleports himself back to our present, confronting the present version of Sylar with the fact that future Sylar gave him his powers, and then we're left hanging until next weeks episode.
Hiro and Ando are being held by the Company the entire episode. All we hear is the same back and forth bickering between them in regards to Hiro no longer trusting Ando because Ando kills him in the future. Angela Petrelli takes them from their cell and has a talk with them. She tells Hiro he's the only with enough information to do anything about our impending calamitous future. We then find Hiro and Ando digging up Adam Monroe from the grave Hiro put him in at the end of last season.
Matts future includes his new wife Daphne Millbrook, our lady of the blessed acceleration, and their adopted daughter Molly Walker. Daphne shows up at the front door after escaping Sylars nuclear explosion, then drops dead in front of Parkmans eyes. Parkman then comes to and he's still in Africa. It was all just a vision of the future and now they must change it. We then see Matt following a turtle around the African desert in search of his animal totem.
Tracy Strauss tries to kill herself by jumping off a bridge. Nathan flies in and makes a quick rescue and flies her back to his room where they begin to share intimacies. We expected this because in the future Nathan is once again the President and Tracy is his First Lady.

Christopher, if you are reading this AGAIN you should REALLY should be doing your work
Well, good morning all!
Yesturday was peaceful and non-dramatic (very different from the past few days).
I went to work and did not have to deal with hardly any customers. Of course I did have to deal with a few, but for the most part I just babysat the lobby and answered a few phone calls.
I spent most of the morning responding to my normal email influx and surfed the internet for awhile.
About halfway through my shift I was told that I look like Uma Thurman--which I am still not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not.
The owners of the hotel I work at did not even notice my hair being A LOT shorter, and that is fine with me. I am glad that they just left me alone for once.
After work I decided to go visit my friend Peter (futantshadow ). We hadn't seen eachother in quite some time and he constantly invites me to visit and I never do.
I drove up there and he instantly insisted that I eat something. After giving me a bowl of salad (which was really good) and orange juice, Peter sat back down and continued to work on his sculpture.
Peter is an artist and he works with clay and paints as well.
After sitting and watching him sculpt for awhile, Peter got the urge to bake chocolate chip cookies--which he had never baked from scratch before. The fact that he had never made cookies before shocked me. Peter's mother is a fantastic cook (from what I've heard) and also is highly into keeping a organized kitchen. After help from Ilene, (Peter's mother) we had all the ingredients and the recipe to make some really amazing cookies.
After 'supervising' while Peter mixed all the ingredients together, we prepared to bake the lovely cookie dough. 12 minutes later we had the first batch done, and then a few minutes later the second also were cooling on the stove. I managed to eat quite a bit of cookie dough while waiting for the cookies to bake, and then Peter and I ate a few warm, lovely cookies.
Then, we put a few on a plate and decided to walk down (or rather uphill) to infinityedge 's house.
The entire way I had a horrible Christmas holiday song stuck in my head and was cursing the fact that I was wearing flats that were not intended for walking on uneven ground.
We got to Christopher's house and decided that we should call so he would come up and meet us at the gate. I pestered Peter to use my phone to call Chris, and the reaction from both of them was amusing when Chris realized that someone else was using my phone to call him. It was not totally strange because Peter and Chris have known eachother for years, but it was still highly amusing--at least to me.
All three of us went on a walk with Christopher's lovely puppy and enjoyed the sunlight of the afternoon.
It was all very lovely.
But yet again I was a distraction for Christopher--who was supposed to be working (and is still supposed to be working--so if he's reading this, GET BACK TO WORK SILLY!!! STOP AVOIDING IT!!!).
Oh well, I'll just blame it on the warm, soft cookies.
Namaste.

After Jesus was arrested and things began to go really, really wrong from almost everyone’s point of view at the time, Peter denied that he even knew Him—three times. And one of these denials was made to a servant girl, not a threatening bully.
That’s why a little exchange between Peter and the very men who condemned Jesus to death, Annas the high priest and Caiaphas, after Jesus’ ascension and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, is particularly striking.
A little background. A man who had been lame from birth had been healed by the power of Jesus, through the ministry of Peter. It created no little stir in Jerusalem. This healing, however, really ticked off the religious authorities—which, by the way, tells us something about how amazingly important earthly and heavenly powers are. This confrontation would not have happened without both of those entities being present.
Peter and others were, believe it or not, arrested for their part in this miracle. The next day, this question was put to them: “By what power or by what name did you do this?”
Then Peter, who had been intimidated by that servant girl just a short time before, said, “...let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing before you well.”
Not a hint of equivocation or politically correct speech in order to stay safe and make this whole thing go away. Just straight up truth.
The religious authorities told them to stop speaking to anyone anymore in “this name,” a warning Peter and the others totally ignored.
Amazing what an encounter with the God who was once dead and is now alive forever can do to a guy.
