For 2007 God will use His equippers 'to set the bone' in order to make all the necessary spiritual adjustments, corrections and repairs so the Bride of Christ will not be spiritually crippled or 'out of joint'.  These equippers are the anointed health-care providers of the the Bride and will bring her to a new level of spiritual health in 2007....

 

* Apostles will govern!

* Prophets will guide!

* Evangelists will gather!

* Pastors will guard!

* Teachers will ground!

 

All such 'equipping' involves actual impartation, which is the distinct supernatural ability to make an eternal and internal life-changing deposit in the life of a believer or church.  This equipping process is not simply teaching by method, technique, or conveying information ~ equipping means imparting the very heart or nature of God into the believer.  They are the 'quality control specialist' requiring the highest of standards from the Bride!

I don't suppose it is even remotely related to Pastoral Care Week, though it might have some strange, twisted bearing on Celebrate Job Loss Week.

What is up with that last one? Again, I am  just reporting the moos.

It's also Roller Skating Month.  So find that skate key and have some fun!  (Survey: How many of you actually had skates that required that skate key?  I raise my hand. That's one. Anyone else?)


Among the other health concerns that are publicized during the month of October, there is Down Syndrome.  To learn more about this condition, I refer you to the National Down Syndrome Society website.  The lovely quote on the homepage is now:  "My dream is for all children to love as they love."  I have to say, that in my experience, the children who have Down Syndrome are truly very loving, wonderful human beings.  Learn a little more about them, today, if you feel led.
