Parker Posey @ MindSay

The Oh In Ohio
This was another on my list of movies to see.  I have NO IDEA what made me put it on the list, so when I was in the video store I just had to trust my past self for knowing what she was doing...

Good old past self!  I really liked this movie.  At the end, maybe I loved it.  Parker Posey is amazing all the way through, and she looks fabulous, dahling.  Good cast.  Interesting ppl in the minor roles...

And I ought to mention... I DON'T want to go to work tomorrow!  Do I have to?  Yes, I do, unfortunately.  It's so late... I wish I had time for a hot bath to completely... oh!  I want to say unnerve me, if that word could possibly mean to undo all my nerves, untangle them.  Nerves are made for making us nervous; I need them to be smoothed out and rendered harmless.

I will have to make do with a shower.  Is there such a thing as "knock-out drops"?  Are there any in the house?

And while I'm asking questions -- here is an old-movie question -- I used to have a boyfriend who was nuts about old movies, and he made me watch so many... not that I'm complaining... but does anyone remember this old black-and-white thing... this one scene where someone like James Mason or Claude Rains (or someone else) is alone with a woman, and he sits down to play the piano.  She says, "You're brilliant!"  and he replies, "Yes, all my friends have to wear sunglasses."

Does that ring a bell?  Anyone know what film it's from?  I'll try to think up a prize for the first correct answer.  And other prizes for amusing wrong answers.
