The Packers played well and won their first game of the season last night, and Rodgers looked good at quarterback. It was also a good weekend for my fantasy football team, which won its first "game." Yay!

 

I got my tickets to visit my friends in San Diego. We talked about maybe going to the zoo and/or Wild Animal Park, and we're going dancing once or twice. It should be a fun trip.

I was originally upset because my beloved was playing handball instead of doing what he should have been doing all along and that is playing football.   We then went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and at first, I thought, I would be having issues with Grandma because she's all: Be patient with Cutler.  My rebuttal would have been:  I would be patient with him if he was meant to be on the Denver Broncos!!! WHICH HE IS NOT!!!! Then Grandpa started being a beanbrain on that.  He then started insulting Jake saying that he did horribly last season.  REALLY GRANDPA?! THEN WHY THE CRAP DID THE NFL JUST NAMED JAKE PLUMMER THE THIRD BEST QUARTERBACK THE ENTIRE NFL??????? If he did so AWFUL then he wouldn't even be in the top TEN!  More like the BOTTOM ten!  GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! I hate it when people do that!!!!

PS--- THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR CUTLER!!!! HE JUST SUCKS!!!!

As a wise man (Chris Berman) once said, "thats why they play the game". The Pack went to Atlanta as 9 1/2 point dogs, and flat out stole one. They even forced 3 turnovers. In one game. A welcome diversion from another late season Badger collapse.

Finally the weekend got here. It has been another long week.
    Last night we went to Little America for their haunted train ride. It was a good time. It is put on by the high school kids in Marshall. We got on the train,and rode out into the back forty. Up to this point the girls were really enjoying themselves. After we got out there, they had us unload from the train. We then went through a haunted forest. N got extremely scared at this point, I had to carry her out. The cool thing is, those kids doing the scaring stopped booing us as soon as they realized she was upset. Thanks. After that she calmed down for a bit, until we had to go through the tent maze. But again the kids doing the scaring just let us go by, didn't jump out. Afterwards we had to wait for the train to take us back to the station. By then it was pretty cold. The girls sat on my lap for the ride back. N buried her head, S laughed at all the ghouls, etc. There was a haunted house but we skipped it & went home. I thought it was a great time, & so did H. Trick or Treat is Sunday afternoon here. The kids have their costumes, a Vampress, & a witch.
    I'll be the guy handing out the candy, while watching the Packer game.
