Thanks to everyone that nominated my
guitar vlog from yesterday. That was
so not what I expected to happen. That one almost became my first friends-only post, but instead it was unleashed on the world. There's no going back now. Are you ready for some mediocre rock covers, world? You better be. I may post again. Or I may not. Will we ever know the answer?
In other news, my DVR that has been acting
all screwy since the day I got it has been running fine for 4 straight days now. It even survived a weekend alone! From the sounds of it, my Pelican System Selector Pro which allows me to run all my numerous game consoles and other inputs to the TV, all in HD, is acting up. As soon as I took that out of the mix and ran the DVR straight into the TV and receiver, it started to work fine. So I put the Xbox 360 into the System Selector in the DVR's spot and what happens? I get an Xbox 360 error code on startup. I go online and research the error code and it says I have a problem with my AV cable. The AV cable that never had a problem before but is now plugged into the system selector. It looks like I've found my culprit. Can anyone recommend an input selector that has several component and optical audio hookups? Anyone?
And finally, I burnt my hand last night when making dinner. I was making pizza. My hand was in the over for all of about 6 seconds and I managed to rest it on the roof of the inside of the oven. The score is now:

But I'm so going to get even with you, oven. You won't expect it, either. I'll be in the kitchen, just grabbing some milk out of the refrigerator and you'll be all minding your own business when BAM! Karate chop! PWND! AAP FTW!
