I've had
Stadium Arcadium on for the past however-long-it's-been hours. Both discs. On Windows Media Player. Hence the blog title.
Speaking of WMP, I downloaded WMP11 a while back, or at least the Beta version. Can't remember if I mentioned it or not. If I did, then this is just gonna be a repeat of stuff I've already said. And, basically..it has it's moments.
In comparison to WMP10, the two are very similar, though the layouts are different. WMP11 takes a black and blue GUI look, as opposed to the old grey/black GUI that WMP10 had. It's also a tad heavier on the system resources. Not quite sure why.
On the Media Library side of things, it's actually sorted alphabetically now, which is fantastically good. It also sorts them into albums as well. Definately better than 10s massive list of everything, in no real order.
That's about it. One really major omission is that you can't actually see the length of a playlist now. I say it's really bad because, sometimes, it'd be nice to know how long the list you've got playing is. Still, I might just be overlooking an option somewhere. If anybody else is running WMP11 and knows where it is, lemme know. Please :D
I'm sure I did start writing this blog with a purpose. What that purpose was..I dunno anymore. I've had enough of my Redhotchilipeppersathon now, though. Time to listen to the vocal tracks from the
Shadow The Hedgehog OST, methinks.
