Orlando Jordan @ MindSay

WWE Smackdown

Wow that was a lot of fun!  Our seats were right next to the hallway that the wrasslers walk to the ring.  About 25 feet from the ring. There are some big dudes that do this thing.

Let me start by remembering all who were there tonight.  M&M, with Melina and Jillian, Psichosis, William Regal, Tsunaki, Scotty to Hotty, Heidenreich, Orlando Jordan, Theodore Long, Christian, Hardcore Holly, Eddie Gurrero, Rey Mysterio, The Undertaker, JBL, Batista, and I am sure I will remember more later.  Unfortunately, as scheduled, Torrie did not show up :(.  Oh well.

The biggest boys there tonight were The Undertaker, JBL, Orlando Jordan, Heidenreich, and The Animal, Batista.  Batista is a friggin specimen.  I do not want to sound gay but the boy is a stud.  Heidenreich is a close second and maybe tied with Jordan.  The Taker is the Taker.  There needs no explanation for him.

Guerrero and somebody else that escapes me right now got busted up and blood drew.  Guerrero had to face the Taker in a ndq match.  That was a good match btw.  Regal was called gay because he came running to his tag team partner after getting pounded and grabbed his partner around his hips while he was on his knees.  That was funny to watch.  Jordan had the fro thing going on and was nicknamed "Buckwheat".  JBL did his normal "I am a wrestling God" and was booed considerably after his limo brought him to the ring.  After Batista beat him, Batista went around huggin alot of the closest people to the ring.  One of the folks that I went with got to touch him.  There was this girl who was a huge Undertaker fan cried when he was coming to the ring.  The Taker match was my favorite.

All in all this was a lot of fun.  Something I have needed for a long time.  But I am not finished yet.  One of the peeps that I went with works for the Marriott that is adjacent to the arena where the matchs took place.  So everyone except me were spending the night there.  After the show, two of the girls and I went to the hotel bar just in case one of the wrasslers came down.  Sure enough, JBL, Dean Malenko and Orlando Jordan came down.  I did not see Jordan at first but I went up to JBL and Malenko, who did not wrestle tonight as I heard later that he does road bookings now, and thanked them for a good show tonight.  They said thank you, but I knew they really did not want me around and that was fine by me and I was not going to intrude on them anyway so I went back to the table.

Now get this, these two girls that I was with knew everything there is to know about the WWE.  They are sortof groupies you might say.  So I went back to tell them who was there and that was when Jordan showed up.  Now our waitress had know idea about who she was waiting on at their table and of course, with my officianado's beside me we had to fill her in.  She came back later to ask us again who was who because they wanted to start a tab with her.  She went back to the table where they were at, as we watched, and all of them looked over at us.  First it was JBL, then Malenko and then Jordan.  O.K., she must have said something to them but when we asked her about it she did not fess up.  She said that they were trying to make bad jokes and that Jordan was wanting to order some chicken wings.  I would to have haved some wings myself but the kitchen was closed.

So this was a cool night.  I got close to some stars of the small screen.  Tonights show was not taped so it will not be on t.v.  But it was neat to see people for real that you only see on the tube.  Go Smackdown!  Go WWE!
