One Month @ MindSay

Yeah, I have kinda sucked on the whole blogging thing for the past month. I'll do a lil' update of things that are in no particular order of happenings.

• I have reduced hours at work due to our low enrollment for the summer. They're talking about laying some of us off for the next month.
• Switched cell phone companies in order to have coverage in Wausau. So, if you have the 451 number, don't call it!
• Back together with John!
• The replacement for the fired/resigned Classroom Manager (my supervisor) for work was finally hired, but her first day in classroom isn't until July 23rd.
• Had an interview with Wausau Childcare Inc. and was offered the job. Still have to call them and decline it. Their offer was only $.20 more than what I currently make and there is no way I could relocate on that.
• Been going to a lot of Woodchuck games with John.
• July 22nd-26th I will be working in the evenings at the church for VBS. They needed someone in the nursery to watch the VBS teachers' children who are not old enough to attend VBS.
• Had the dents taken out of my car after that wonderful hail storm that we had.
• Got together with Dr. Andy a few weeks ago in the Dells. It has been a year between meetings!
• Mum and Dad left for vacation on July 6th and are expected to return at the end of the month. This year they headed for Key West and Mum is sending postcards to my kids at work along the way. We are mapping their progress on a giant wall map of the USA.
• My brother and I have VIP tickets to see Weird Al at the Wisconsin Valley Fair in Wausau on July 31st.
• Been applying for lots of different jobs, especially in the Wausau area. A few of them have been with the school district, so I would work 9.5 months full time and make more than I do full year full time now.
• Had a five year old call me a cunt. I have never been called a cunt in my life and the first time it happens, it comes from a five year old.

I think that is all for my lil' update. Hopefully I will be up for blogging more the remaining part of the month.

Yes.. I am guilty as charged.. i haven't blogged in over a month because I've been  studying so freaking hard for my exams.. which by the way are over..except for one more bio paper on monday.. but thats easy so i don't have to stress myself stupid like i did for Algebra that I wrote yesterday.

 

My life..has not really improved... School is still terrible. I haven't properly gone out in a month (except for sushi yesterday but that also doesn't count..) and my family is still this tornado of chaos like always. I have also seemingly developed a case of dyslexia so if anyone is reading this- I have had way too many words to spell correctly this past week to even remotely care what my spelling is like in this blog. I'm drained and tranced and I can't wait to just put on my bikini and tan for 6weeks non stop!

 

Yes, 'tis true! It is December, summer holiday at last! Yipeeeee! A whole month and a half then i'm in matric.. it's a weird, yet satifying feeling!

 

This photo above is one of our last days at school. 2 Of my friends just fooling around.. look at our ugly uniforms! bahahaha! Yes..and indeed we are cursed to each be bestowed with a name badge which bears our identity..every single day! I'm telling you..we are being boxed like sheep in a yarn factory in that institute!

so, today starts National Novel Writing Month....don't know what NaNoWriMo is? Check out their site HERE. I'm hopefully going to keep a tally on here...every wednesday of this month I'll stop in here and put up the tally...right now, I'm sitting at

 

1893 / 50 000 words.

 

it's still a small number, but it just started this morning. If anyone is at all interested in reading what I come up with after this month is over, please let me know, and I'll tell you where you can find it. Later all!

one month.  one month. i keep telling myself that.  just one month.  life is going to be hell for all my friends at the end of this month.  i will be insane.  and for me, it will be just like christmas eve.  you know you have to get to sleep, but you can't.  and time slinks by so slowly that you can run laps around it.  so you try your hardest to sleep, tossing and turning trying with all your might.  then it finally happens, you fall asleep.  you wake up what seems to be eternities later and run out of your room, only to discover the adults still up.  they tell you it's been ten minutes and to go back to bed. 
yay, it will be three months when he comes home. two if you don't count the over lapping times of morgan and him.  but i count them, so there. and in a week and two days, i get my license.  yay, yay, yay.  one month!

Well my boss didn't turn up today to fire me which is always a good thing so I suppose I'm going to get another month there at least. I had to change the order in which I worked in today in order to improve the health and safety of those around me because they are all a hazard to themselves and as a result it would be me, my boss and the company that would take the blame and have to pay out. Which is not what I want, well I couldn't care less about the company just as long as they pay me every month till I leave in September, incidently which they do not know about yet. And now on to the world cup.

 

My expert punditary analysis sense is tingling and I believe that we will see the following scorelines today:
