Analysis of the Deaths of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman

As Ronald Goldman was fainting O.J. Simpson continued to swing the knife at him with his right hand and cut the left earlobe of Ronald Goldman as he fell to the ground.  O.J. Simpson also cut a deep gash in the left thigh of Ronald Goldman as he was falling.  After Ronald Goldman had impacted the ground O.J. Simpson then stepped toward him, bent down, and stabbed him deeply in the left upper abdomen and as he pulled out the knife was beginning to stand back up which caused a very long cutting wound.

Karma Is A Bitch
Time hasn't been kind to Orenthal James.

Too bad you can't get the death penalty for armed robbery.
Its also too bad he probably won't go to jail...the guy who he robbed is now supposedly on OJ's side and wants the charges dropped.

This Is My Confession

From the poison pen of Orenthal J:

I looked over at Goldman, and I was fuming. I guess he thought I was going to hit him, because he got into his little karate stance. "What the fuck is that?" I said. "You think you can take me with your karate shit?" He started circling me, bobbing and weaving, and if I hadn't been so fucking angry I would have laughed in his face. "O.J., come on!" It was Charlie again, pleading. Nicole moaned, regaining consciousness. She stirred on the ground and opened her eyes and looked at me, but it didn't seem like anything was registering. Charlie walked over and planted himself in front of me blocking my view. "We are fucking done here, man-let's go!" I noticed the knife in Charlie's hand, and in one deft move I removed my right glove and snatched it up. "We're not going anywhere," I said, turning to face Goldman. Goldman was still circling me, bobbing and weaving, but I didn't feel like laughing anymore. "You think you're tough, motherfucker?" I said. I could hear Charlie just behind me, saying something, urging me to get the fuck out of there, and at one point he even reached for me and tried to drag me away, but I shook him off, hard, and moved toward Goldman. "Okay, motherfucker!" I said. "Show me how tough you are!" Then something went horribly wrong, and I know what happened, but I can't tell you exactly how. I was still standing in Nicole's courtyard, of course, but for a few moments I couldn't remember how I'd gotten there, when I'd arrived, or even why I was there. Then it came back to me, very slowly: The recital-with little Sydney up on stage, dancing her little heart out; me, chipping balls into my neighbor's yard; Paula, angry, not answering her phone; Charlie, stopping by the house to tell me some more ugly shit about Nicole's behavior. Then what? The short, quick drive from Rockingham to the Bundy condo. And now? Now I was standing in Nicole's courtyard, in the dark, listening to the loud, rhythmic, accelerated beating of my own heart. I put my left hand to my heart and my shirt felt strangely wet. I looked down at myself. For several moments, I couldn't get my mind around what I was seeing. The whole front of me was covered in blood, but it didn't compute. Is this really blood? I wondered. And whose blood is it? Is it mine? Am I hurt?

I call shenanigans on this one. There is no way OJ wrote any of this. I doubt OJ even dictated this nonsense. While he's the guiltiest guilty man ever, I can't believe that OJ wrote this. It reads like a cheap dime store novel. I bet some hack wrote this and OJ just agreed to put his name on it. The silly bastard probably hasn't even read the damn thing. And who the fuck is Charlie? Its been a while since I cared about the Juice and his wacky life but I can't recall any "Charlies" from the trial.
I wonder if this thing would have made any loot if it were ever released?

Corruption, incompetence and gritty fiction

January 7, 2007 (San Dimas, CA) Police-Writers.com continued to add to the listing of state and local police officers who have authored books.  Added were BJ Bourg, Charles Stoker, Tom Lange and Phillip Vannatter.

BJ Bourg began his law enforcement career in 1990 with the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana. He worked dispatch while attending the academy and, upon graduation was assigned to patrol. He worked patrol for about two years; and, in February of 1993, was promoted to detective. BJ worked as a detective for over ten years.  He was promoted to sergeant and in 2003, became a full-time instructor at the police academy.  In 2004, became the Chief Investigator for the Lafourche Parish District Attorney’s Office.  He still teaches at the police academy.  He began to take his life-long passion for writing seriously in 2003.  Since that time, he has published nearly 100 short stories in publications like Future’s Mystery Magazine, Mysterical-E, Bewildering Stories, Apollo’s Lyre, Writer’s Post Journal, Amazon Shorts, and Chippewa Publishing.   Additionally, his short stories appear in four books, “Absent the Soul” (a collection of my first twelve shorts), “The EX Factor” (a multi-authored anthology), “Stories of Strength” (a multi-authored anthology, the proceeds of which benefit victims of hurricane Katrina and other disasters), and “Seven By Seven” (a multi-authored anthology).

Former Los Angeles Police Department police officer Charles Stoker blasted 1940s corruption in the LAPD.  In 1951, Charles Stoker published “Thicker’n Thieves.”  According to the book cover, “where corrupt police officers, venal politicians and office-holders claimed to have been fighting the underworld, Stocker fought it personally, furiously and with everything at his command to the point where he was framed and fired for “CONDUCT UNBECOMING A POLICE OFFICER” because he testified to the fact before the 1949 Los Angeles Grand Jury.  Aside from being a cold steel account of what transpired during his tenure as an officer, this is the highly human story of young Texan, Stoker.”  Stoker’s 1951 bombshell is now a 2006 collectable, selling for as much as $500.

“Evidence Dismissed” is “the inside story of the police investigation of O.J. Simpson.”  The authors, Detective Tom Lange and Detective Phillip Vannatter, were the lead detectives during the infamous case.  Detective Tom Lange joined the Los Angeles Police Department in 1967 after earning a Bronze Star in Vietnam as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.  In nearly 29 years with the LAPD, he was awarded more than 60 commendations from various law enforcement agencies.  During his career, he was involved in more than 250 murder investigations.  He retired in 1996.  His partner, Phillip Vannatter,  entered the Los Angeles Police Department in 1969 after serving on the United States Army Peacekeeping force in Korea.  In 27 years with the LAPD he investigated more than 250 homicides, and became a court expert in highly sensitive officer-involved shootings and homicides.  Throughout his career, he received more than 60 commendations from law enforcement and over 200 from civilians.  He retired in 1996.

While Police-Writers.com hosts 229 police officers (representing over 70 police departments) and their 611 books in six categories, there are also listings of United States federal law enforcement employees turned authors and international police officers who have written books.
