Oil Change @ MindSay
Went to pick up my father from his friends house on randsom road in Lancaster (referred to yesterday's blog entry please), around 12 - 1230 last night. I took his car, just incase the drunk puked, he could mess up his own car. This is the first time I've ever driven his car at night, also the first time he was ever a passenger, in his own car. lol Well the trip there, and back was event less.
I finally went to bed around 130 I think. I woke at 11 am. Upon getting up. I called Fuccillo Chevy out on grand island and told them of my cars AC problem, or what I thought was a problem. You know how when you run your AC for a while , it drips. Well, mine doesn't. The water has to be going somewhere. So I took it in for them to check out. It also was a month overdue for an oil change, but still way under 3000 miles.
So, after getting off the phone with them. I got dressed and drove out to get the work done on my car. Turns out the AC is fine, they checked the entire system, and there aren't any problems. Just my AC just doesn't pump out water like some other AC unites. Maybe its cause is only on a 4 cylinder engine, I dunno. At least I know everything with it is fine. It also got its oil & lube and tire presure checked. All this only cost 32 bucks. I was there for probally a little over an hour.
Upon returning home. I found out that my parent went out and got corn. Oh boy. Corn on the cob. Whatever... I returned to my room and channel surfed on the TV. Finding a replay of the race from yesterday on ESPN so I watched the race I missed yesterday. Of which Tony Stewart won.
Dale Jr. The bud motorsport #8 Chevy, blew the engine and finished 42 nd , if you where wondering. Now in the 14 th in points. Currently out of the chase. Ugh!!
While watching the race, my mother made dinner. Which was sliced ham , and mac & cheese. I didnt touch the corn on the cob, sorry it doesnt interest me at the moment. After eatting I returned to the room and to my tv and PC.
After the race, I watched star trek , and Reba. Right now , I am watching Monday night countdown. It the show before Monday night football. Which starts at 8 , and then there is WWE Monday night raw on at 9. So, programming should be good the rest of the night. Depending on how late I wanna stay up.
So does doing all this make it sound like I am entertained and, or, busy ? Well guess what. I am bored shitless! None of these programs seem to be holding my interest, and probably the best day of the week so far, and no one wants to do anything. Ugh...
So, that bring me to the title of this blog. What do you do ... when your bored out of your mind and it seems like there is nothing to do? Humm, seriously people give me something to do. Please ? I a begging you! Save my soul ?
Yes, I know your wondering, what else is on my mind? Let's see. My hair was so ugly today, that I just tied it back. I am super flaky and really not in the mood. Just in general. Although on a plus note I got a chain and pendant I ordered on e-bay in the mail today. Woohoo! So, now I have a chain that is perfect that I can wear all my pendants on.
Other then all this, yes, I am still super bored!

March 6, 2007 – Military family members in Michigan don't have to squeak by anymore when it comes to routine auto maintenance thanks to eight auto garages throughout the state. "We offer a full-service oil change with a brief safety inspection," said Rob Hopp, owner of Auto Advantage. "We're offering them to any military dependent, active or reserve."
The services are free once every 90 days with an appointment and a military dependent identification card, he said. The Oil Change Help program began just a few months after the fighting started in Iraq and will continue until at least Dec. 31.
Tom Ham, who owns Ham's Automotive, was the key player in getting the program going, Hopp said. "He (Ham) has three children who are Marines," he said. "Two of them have been to Iraq and back."
Hopp had his own reasons for wanting to help out though.
"Gratitude for one thing, for the freedom that we enjoy," he said. "I know that our military is one of the primary reasons that we're able to have the freedom we have today."
He said a customer made the need for his and the other garage owners' services apparent. "(We) just got to talking about things that don't get done, or things that she wonders if they're done right," Hopp said. "(Car maintenance is) one thing that tends to fall to the bottom of the priority list."
News about the free service mostly has been spread by word of mouth, though the local newspaper and radio in the Grand Haven area have given it mention, he said. So little publicity has kept the numbers of those taking advantage of the service at Hopp's garage to about one a week, though he's sure he can handle more.
"I've never hesitated to think that we could handle all (the dependents) that were in this area," he said. "We would need to set appointments, of course, and spread it out a little bit."
Military dependents also can find participating garages in Grand Rapids, the Oak Park area of Detroit, and Marshall. Other garages are welcome to join the program, though there are some requirements that must be met, Hopp said.
"I'm open to others (participating)," he said. "There are some specifics that need to be maintained as far as ethics, (for example) not using it as a tool to lasso people in."
Garages interested in becoming part of the free oil change program can e-mail Hopp through the contact link on the Oil Change Help Web site. The Web site also has contact information for military dependents wanting to make appointments.
As for the servicemembers, Hopp has a simple message for them: "Keep up the great work."
Editor's Note: Military families can also avail themselves of the Defense Department's America Supports You program, which highlights home-front groups across the nation that are providing a variety of services and support to troops and their families. A listing of these groups and information about their efforts is available at www.AmericaSupportsYou.mil.

It took me about ten minutes to change my air filter.
It took about twenty minutes to refill my spare tire. We have a dinky little air compressor, and it had about 1/3 of the air it should have had.
It took roughly an hour to figure out that we're giving up on this particular little nut, and we're just going to pay Midas to change my fuel filter. I know how to do the basic maintenance things on my car, but sometimes I just lack the handstrength, and need Dad. In this case, Dad was barely able to budge the nut we needed out of there. Judging by the amount of crunchy-crackling that occurred when he tried, he's speculating that the filter hasn't been changed since this car was made.
This could explain why my gas mileage is so unimpressive.
Had a conversation with a friend tonight. First time we've exchanged any kind of real conversation in a while. You know what it's like when you part on difficult terms, and then months pass before you talk again? First impulse is to be snarky just because you were hurt in the past, but it feels so good to be talking with them. Sometimes have to stop and remind yourself of what's important. That's the joy of IM - you can start saying something and change your mind halfway through when you realize that it's not worth it.
But now, I smell like oil and a few other things that make me happy. I'm not being facetious - it's an association thing. Being at the garage with my uncle is smoke, mounted evidence of his and my grandfather's prowess as sportsmen, posters of scantily clad women, engine oil. Smoke, engine oil, woods, and sweat isn't a turn-on, but it's definitely the most masculine combination to me. At least, of scents I've yet encountered.
I'm going to go shower.
Got woken up this morning by my mother at 740. So that I could drive out to Fuccillo Chevy to get my cars oil changed. So after sitting around for a while, she decided to go with me. We went out there, and waited around. Fuccillo isn't exactly quick. We were out there till probably 930 or so before they finished working on the car.
After they finished that, we drove from there, out to the Erie county fair. Again! We arrived out there around 1015. In time to get the "early bird" admission again. We walked around and saw everything. We ended up getting some stuff that we hadn't gotten last time. We left and came home around 1230 - 1.
Upon arriving home, I crashed on my bed in my room. I am pooped. So I took a nap while watching TV, cause lets face it, TV is rather boring. Dinner was mac&cheese and ham. Which is alright.
What's going on right now? Nothing interesting, sitting here typing this, and watching more boring TV. How fun ? Getting annoyed by "girl a" and all her BS. You know, a typical night around my house.
What's on my mind? "Girl a" and all her crap, lies and bullshit talk. You really wanna know what I think of her, ask me. Other then that, its too warm in here, I am tired, and really not in the mood to do much of anything. Although I'd hang out with a trusted friend, if that person asked.
Other then all that, there really isn't much going on around here. If anyone wants to chat or ask me to do anything you know the drill. If I don't go anywhere, I'll probably be online until I go to bed tonight.
Alright, that is all for this entry, cause I really don't feel like making an entry today at all. I guess I am not in the mood. Sorry, I can't be happy all the time. People that are, have serious issues.
