Open Mouth, Insert Foot
Those Clintons just can't stop lying, can they?  A few days ago, former President Bill Clinton brought up the Bosnia scandal again.  Obviously, he'd try to downplay it, but in true Clinton-esque fashion, he told one whopper after another.  The vid features Tim Russert completely dismantling Bill's argument.

First, Clinton said that his wife described the events incorrectly because it was "late at night" and she was "tired."  He then says that she only made those comments "one time."  As we see from the video, everything is a complete fabrication on his part.  First, Hillary Clinton did not make those statements just one time, as we saw.  There are four documented instances of her painting a very inaccurate picture of the event.  Secondly, none of the statements were made "late at night" as the former president claims, they were all in the morning or early afternoon.

This leads me to my next point.  If we are to discard the evidence and believe the Clinton's explanation of her serious gaffe, why would I want to vote for someone who will make errors that extreme because she's "tired?"  I thought the whole point of her campaign was that she is the one who will be ready to pick up the red phone at 3 am.  If she's too tired to get her facts straight at 9 am, then why in the hell would I want her making life of death decisions for this country at 3 am?

Ladies and gentleman, this issue right here is what destroyed Senator Clinton's campaign.  There's no way she can recover from this.  Every time her or her husband tries to rationalize and justify it, it only exacerbates the situation.  Obama can get through the pastor controversy, but Clinton won't get past Bosnia.  If the earth shifted it's magnetic field, hell froze over, and she won the nomination, she'd be a sitting duck for John McCain.

Hillary Clinton update
Apparently Senator Clinton has been caught in yet another lie.  This time it was regarding her 1996 goodwill trip to Bosnia.  The video begins with her claiming dubiously that if a place was too small or too dangerous, they wouldn't send the president but instead the first lady.  OH MY GOD HOW DO OUR FIRST LADIES EVER SURVIVE!!!?!?!?!?!one!!!1!111  Not only is this policy claim ridiculous, it also apparently applies to the president's teenage daughter as well, as young Chelsea Clinton traveled and arrived in Bosnia WITH her mother.

Senator Clinton continues to describe that they landed among sniper fire (the plane wouldn't have been allowed to land at all if that were true), and that there was no greeting ceremony, instead they had to run with their heads down to the vehicles.  the video playing along with this speech shows a different story.  Aside from the fact that it's hardly likely the president would even allow not only the first lady, but his teenage daughter to go on such a "dangerous mission," the video shows a completely different story.  There was no sniper fire, but instead handshakes and smiles during the greeting ceremony Clinton claims never took place.

So what does this mean?  Normally, we expect a little embellishment from our politicians.  This campaign is a job interview, and who hasn't spiced up the language in a resume every so often?  You'd be hard-pressed to look through history and find one elected official who never did so.  What Senator Clinton has engaged in is far more than some innocent resume-padding.  She is giving herself the title of diplomat where none is deserved, unless we lower our standards and appoint Chelsea Clinton, Sinbad and Sheryl Crow to that office as well.  It would be like putting "led a money-saving initiative during a major financial crisis and saved the company $500,000" when all you really did was take minutes at a middle-management staff meeting deciding which 9 people to lay off.

She's lying so much, I have a feeling that Hillary Clinton is going to be the next Chuck Norris, except probably much less funny and far more tragic.

Hapless robbers target biker meeting

Hapless robbers target biker meeting

(CNN) -- Two masked and machete-wielding men who barged into a club in Sydney, Australia, couldn't have picked a worse night for their robbery -- a monthly meeting of bikers.

art.cruiser.club.jpg

The robbers chose the wrong night to burst into the club where the Southern Cross Cruiser Club have their monthly meeting.

About 50 burly bikers fought back with tables and chairs -- pretty much anything that wasn't bolted down. One would-be robber was tied up; the other in the hospital.

Police arrested both.

"These guys were absolutely dumb as bricks," Jerry Vancornewal, leader of the bikers, told CNN Thursday. "I can't believe they saw all the bikes parked up front and they were so stupid that they walked past in."

Vancornewal and his buddies were at the Regents Park Sporting and Community Club in Sydney when the two men wearing ski masks stormed in Wednesday night. They yelled at patrons to drop to the floor as they emptied cash registers at the bar.

Hearing the commotion from an adjacent room, Vancornewal and his pals with the Southern Cross Cruiser motorcycle club stomped through to the bar area to intervene.

"They (the robbers) thought they had the upper advantage with their knives and their machetes," Jim Webb, night supervisor of the club, told CNN. "They didn't expect to run into a bunch of guys carrying chairs and tables."

One of the would-be robbers crashed through a plate-glass door and jumped off a balcony.

"All he had to do was push the button and it automatically opened," Webb quipped.

New South Wales police said they arrested the 20-year-old man a short distance away.

The second man made a break for it through the club's service entrance, but the bikers tackled him near a neighbor's fence.

"We just grabbed him, crash-tackled him to the ground, hogtied him with electrical wire and left him for the cops," Vancornewal said.

Police confirmed in a statement that club patrons subdued the second man until officers arrived, but did not provide additional details. The suspect turned out to be a 16-year-old boy.

Both would-be robbers were charged with attempted armed robbery and "face disguised with intent to commit indictable offense," police said.

A third person, who was waiting in a getaway car, took off when the bikers threw pieces of furniture at him, Webb said. Police have not located him.

The Regents Park Sporting and Community Club is a place where locals come to enjoy drinks and take part in various games: cricket, soccer, lawn bowling. The biking enthusiasts meet there once a month to plan rides and other club activities.

In the last year or so, criminals have struck the club about 10 times, Webb said. And Wednesday night's incident, while unusual, wasn't the most memorable.

"We have these old bingo players and they are really serious about their games," Webb explained. "They do not like to be interrupted."

When robbers barged in one evening and announced that they were holding up the place, the players turned around and testily told them to be quiet.

"They were making it difficult for the players to hear the numbers being called," Webb said.

Who Should Fredheads Support Now?
GOP Candidates 1-23-08.JPG hosted for free by ImageShack

Dr. Rusty Shackleford writing for The Jawa Report was a fellow Fredhead as was I. Shackleford gets directly into his issue: If you were a Fredhead you should support Mitt Romney for he is the closest thing to a Conservative still running for the Republican nomination.

Shackleford heaps a tremendous amount of disdain upon Huckabee. I too am not certain Huckabee is the man. If he won the nomination the voters may perceive him as the Christian Rights man God wants in Office. This is an extreme view for a lot of voters. Although I am not one of them, even Republicans might view Huckabees Ministerial credentials as a violation of the constitutionally non-existent concept of the Separation of Church and State.

Because of this voters may be swayed by whoever fringe Left Candidate the Democrats finally settle on. When it comes to a choice of radicalism, Americans tend to err on the side of the secular rather than the Christian these days.

Shackleford directly says voters that are put off by Romneys Mormonism are clearly fringe social issue Christians who are not concerned about the Right Stuff that makes a total Conservative. Thus not voting for Romney because of Mormonism is bigotry. After all the new package Romney claims to have transformed his liberal Massachusetts social liberalism back to a Mormon friendly social Conservatism as well as being a fiscal Conservative who gets it about the War on Terror.

The truth is social Conservatism is not in Romneys track record in Massachusetts. That bothers me!

And as far as bigotry, that is a way out there accusation. It is like the Left accusing Christians of bigotry for preaching or believing the Word of God which is definitely anti-homosexual and warns of cults using the name of Christ but teaching a different Gospel. Also the Left accuses Christians of bigotry toward Muslims when Christians defend their faith against Islamic belief, yet when Muslims call Christians and Jews as either sub-class citizens as being the People of the Book or outright call for a Christians and Jews death for their existence insults their Allah.

Shackleford is using Left Wing thinking to get Fredheads to support Romney.

In the Primary selection process of the Republican Nominee I am not voting for Romney because he is a Mormon and that is not bigoted, it is in line with my Christian faith.

There is a lot about Mormonism that the every day Mormon does not even know about. Mormonism is an elitist driven cult that requires promotion to know certain secrets somewhat like Gnosticism Christianitys early competitor in the first couple hundred years after the Resurrection of Christ.

And just so you dont think I am spouting Conspiracy Theory, there are huge numbers of former Mormons that have come back to Christ that are involved in Christian Ministries that are dedicated to expose the differences between Mormonism and Christianity. Christians should not support Mormons for Public Office because of those differences.

Having said all that, I am extremely uncertain who I will support for the Republican nomination. There are simply too many intangible qualities of likes and dislikes of the remaining Republican Candidates.

So as a Fredhead I am not throwing my lot to Romney; however I am not necessarily throwing my lot to any other Candidate either.

This may surprise you after my dissing of Mormonism. I will throw my lot to whoever wins the Republican nomination; even if that person is Mitt Romney.

The reality of it all is this: the Democrats support godless socially liberal stances that would force me to vote for a self-proclaimed socially Conservative Romney. The other Republicans: McCain, Giuliani and Huckabee have a bit of the RINO liberalism in them but at least they are not fringe Leftists and they each have an aspect that I do like about them.

[NOTE: There is something way fishy about Ron Paul. It is no accident I did not include him Republicans that have aspects that I like.]

Whoever wins the nomination, I pray that Candidate entices Fred Thompson to be their Vice President. That would be an awesome team against the fringe Left Democrats.

The real point of it all is this: VOTE REPUBLICAN.

Achtung!
OK.

There's a bit of a twist.

There were only 4 albums that were voted for more than once.

I said there'd be a Top 5.

So.

I'm not gonna make you all vote again just to get a 5th Nominee.

Here's what I'm gonna do.

The 5th Nominee will be a wildcard album.

I'm literally just gonna wave my finger around on a piece of paper and slam it down somewhere and whatever album it alnds on will be the 5th Nominee.

Alright.

Lemme do this right quick.
