I was trying to find a good quote to put in my header (for this month's theme) or in the introduction section of the blog (all 150 characters of it) and I finally decided on "The only joy in the world is to begin" by Cesare Pavese. It was either that or the more emo/evangelical "There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning" by smut writer, Lois L'Amour.

Chilly pointed out this month's header has a Christmas in July-feel. I'm alright with that even if it wasn't what I intended. Which begs the question, what did I intend? Simplicity, color, a bright bar/bandana across the top/head to emphasize the width. I like these colors together too. I wanted a ripped transition between the header and the body because it was important to me to have a white background.

New theme. I like the feel of this one. The last one felt like a K-Mart.

I switched up my theme. Turned our cat into a fox.  We listened to a lot of Neko Case's "Fox Confessor" the day before yesterday and her tunes are floating around in my head, still setting a mood. What you see is the color scheme I hear and sort of organic mystery I feel.
