No Hitter @ MindSay

Giants Pitcher Throws No-Hitter
So close.  Giants pitcher Jonathan Sanchez came so close to a perfect game.  It's a wonderful story; a Cinderella story.  Previously demoted to the bullpen for poor performance, the only reason Sanchez pitched yesterday was because Randy Johnson was on the disabled list.  Make the most of your opportunities.  With his dad in the stands, Sanchez threw a no-hitter, striking out 11 Padres batters in the process.  If it wasn't for teammate Juan Uribe's error in the 8th inning, he would have had a perfect game.  Perfect.  So close.

White Sox Playing Like Champs
Mark Buehrle's no hitter the other night was pretty impressive.  Good for him!  He almost had a perfect game, but he walked one batter.  That's gotta be bugging him.  To come that close to perfection, and just miss it.  He quickly picked off the runner on first base, though.  Retribution.

The White Sox are playing very well right now.  They've managed to put away the Tigers, and have a chance to sweep them tomorrow.  I like what I'm seeing.

A Thing Of Absolute Beauty
What else needs to be said? This was simply an amazing performance from top to bottom. Best of all, my brother and I were there to see it all. I was shaking like a leaf the entire 9th inning. Moments like this remind me why I love baseball and, more importantly, why I love the Chicago White Sox....now and forever.

GO SOX!!!!
