All Sorts Of Craziness

Hey guys, yeah it's been quite hectic around the house just recently. We've been getting the sides of the house replaced. During that the guys knocked out my internet some how. I checked to see if they cut any wires but everythings been fine. I wasn't here to see anything but I think mom did something but we got it fixed. Then now one of the fans in the computer isn't working so I have to be careful with it and no wonder it's been acting funny just recently. Georgia Gwinnett College has all my transcripts, I think I'm done with that now glad that's over with. It's more like what do I do next now? Well of course keep looking for a job, just need to fill out this application, I think I'm worried that I won't enjoy the job or feel like I screw up a lot you know. I havne't had that many jobs so it's still pretty scary. (All the HUGE relationship stuff I'm going to talk about is more at the bottom of all this random stuff it's quite long need some opinions.)

Also I know people are going to hate me for this but I sold my Nintendo Wii. I just wasn't playing it, don't have the time and it was the system out of all the other ones that hardly got any play. Plus I wasn't that huge fan of Super Smash Brothers Brawl, it'll never compare to any of my old 2d Street Fighter. To see kids talk trash that has Mario or Princess Peach in it is just so stupid especially when most of the touranments I've seen there' all my age. First one is the best one so enough is enough. Also the only game that interests me on the Wii is the new TALES OF game is coming out. Not enough to make me keep it and the Wii lose even more value. That reminds me my DS broke @_@, I've never had a system truly break on me with out a uge amount of usage. The hinge broke of all things. I'm pretty good with most my stuff especially when it comes to gaming stuff. Good thing it hasn't even been a year on the DS yet so I can call them up. Only problem is can I LIVE without it for a couple days or weeks @_@. I love that thing sooooo much!

I sold all my Ds games but 3, I have a new comtraption for my DS, where it uses micro Sd card, it's called a M3 lite. Basically I can download gameboy advance games as well as DS games. When portable game system games are getting to 40 dollars yeah that's not cool Especially on Square Enix side when they make money no matter what. The only DS game that I would buy is the newly announced Chrono Trigger, took them so long to even put it on there. And I'm still not satify the game deserves another sequel, it's already been almost 10 years since Chrono Cross. Chrono Trigger was my first Role playing Game, and also deal with time traveling and the only game to have 10 endings at it's time. And one more thing the only game to ever be a match and beat Final Fantasy 3 (FF6 in Japan) or be even without losing to it. Even Chrono Cross whichwas an alright game could have been so much better beat Final Fantasy 9 for Role playing game of the year. So Chrono series is no joke. I buy that just support that franchise, every thing else it depends, and depends on job wise too. By the way there's a lot of people hating Square Enix for putting Final Fantasy 13 on the Xbox 360, yeah I hate that system pretty much @_@. I know what's Sony thinking. If you've been playing videogames for a long time you would know that SONY owns pretty much almost all the stock of Square Enix. So Sony is just going to make more money which will help that's for sure. But the game will be the best on PS3 no doubt!

Alright I think I'm done talking about videogames for a while ^_^;; Next is relationship stuff. Yeah this stuff does get boring after a while doesn't it. I just wanna know what is up with being a better friend than boyfriend. I was talking to my ex and she called me retarded. And I was like what!?!? But she explained and was asking how come I was talking so much clearer and able to help her out with her problems. Good question I don't know! I hate doing better that way means I'm horrible at being in a relationship. Well hopefully things would work out, kind still like her, or more it's like we're getting along better. Maybe I should stick with that. I don't think I'm a person who plays the fields at all. Sure I like lots of girls but I've never have or wouldn't want more than one at a time. I can be good but I'm not that good @_@. Plus I care way too much of people feelings so it probably wouldn't happen. But I hate how I'm so much better for the girl but htey're dating someone else who's just ugh drive me insane. But yeah I will explain abit more of that right now.

So I was talking to my ex. She's going back out with the guy before me. And I'm like okay yeah saw that coming they've been dating a while now. She asked kind of a stupid question. About what can she do for him. In my mind I'm like, "Oh noooo. Please don't tell me you asked him that!?!" I know guys too well, because I am one, but to ask an ordinary guy that oh man. I couldn't believe what she told me next about what he said. Before I  list out what he says. She really likes this guy and is supposely in love -rolls eyes- I talked to her about the L word, she thought I hated it, but I don't I just don't want to regret  me saying that to some girl then screwing her over. But she had a point by saying that I could have said it and that it's okay because people fall in and out of love. I was kind of surprised she said that, and she's pretty much right. As long as you don't mistreat them and tell them the truth and know how to trust it will be alright. All the girls I ever liked and got with and broke up with. All still good friends with.

Ok now this the stuff he said to her. Said she could lose some weight ( sure anybody could use that in the world we live in but you don't just say point blank like that. Especially when I already know she's extremely self concsious about that stuff. So I always refer to playing a game outside or taking a walk in the neighborhood.) Fix her eye brows (I didn't want to laugh but I sorta did because I didn't see anythng wrong and I could believe that was bothering him, thanks for twisting the knife more.) Don't hang out with  your guy friends, (well figures but hello she grew up around a bunch of guys what do you expect have you not been listening to her life story?) Be more sexually active. (Just please someone give me the word to beat the crap out of him please! Wow then what's this relationship for then!?! Just because you don't think you get enough gives you a right to DEMAND something like that! Plus she's still in school right now so go beat your meat somewhere else for a while sheesh!) Alright and the LAST thing. Do some of the things he does. Meaning drinking and drugs. (.............. That's the one thing I hate the most..... PEER PRESSURE... I dispise it so much. I don't like alochol unless it's good for cooking. I grew up around so much alcohol that's it just part of life, get over it it's nothing new it's been around forever. People make too much of a big deal about stupid stuff like that. And drugs pretty much smoking pot or cigs or whatever.  If there is SMOKE coming from your LUNG/THOART coming out of you mouth. It's NOT NORMAL AT ALL PERIOD!!!! You can say it's not bad but the human body was never meant for that, and to put that kind of pressure on someone you're going out with that's a disgrace. I know you're wondering why am I so angry. My oldest brother did a lot of this stuff and had a lot of friend making him do this stuff. By his senior year he cleaned up and was going to graduate. Well he never made it too see that.  When he fixed his life things were going good and it was gone just like that. After all the trouble he been through that happens. I was only in 3rd grade 9 years old. I had already seen some of the most craziest and scariest stuff already. So I had to grow up fast. I'm too nice most people say but if no one's really going to care than I have to work hard at it. I may be annoying or whatever but at least I'm trying to say I care. I don't want to control your life or anything. I want you to choose but I'm just showing you a better path of what could be better)

I just don't understand why things always end up like that. I want to just rip this dude apart. She even told me she uncomfortable and doesn't want to do it, she already has friends that do that stuff and they're off in terrible states. So why end up like that. But also what would you do for you love one?!? Ar eyou suppose to love someone even when you know it's wrong to yourself or it doesn't feel right to you.? give up everything just because you want someone of right now? Oh man please don't let that ever happen to you because those people don't deserve having someone like you, whoever is going through all that stuff and doesn't know what to do this isn't just some lecture this is just my way of trying to help like it or not, sometimes people have to point it out. I'm not saying I don't have friends who don't smoke or drink, I'm still there for them, because that's not something you can just get over so quickly, but they know for sure I don't do that stuf and that's what makes them believe there's still hope out there of sorts...

Variety: We Hate the Wii, Because Sony Pays Us To

A reviewer at Variety was pretty critical of the Nintendo Wii in a recent review of the new Super Mario Galaxy game with comments like “As good as the game is, though, it’s evidence of how bad the Wii is for third person action games …” and “… Super Mario Galaxy is, in fact, it’s one of the worst two-player experiences ever seen in a videogame.”

However, smurfy  had a sharp eye and was able to find a clear conflict of interest Variety has in writing this review.  Check out the “sponsored by Sony” (makers of Playstation) logo in the top right:

First Day on the Job, Part 2!!

so yes, were was i....yes, i used up my free lunch ticket and had a yummy lunch!  i love pasta so i jumped into that and at stryker, any type of food you can get is always delicious!!  after that we finished up what was left of the orientation by going over the voicemail, outlook email, and so forth...after that, they pretty much dropped us off to our respective teams and all the new hires wished each other the best of luck in our first day at the job!  i was dropped off to the custom implants team and everything was set up!  i have my own laptop, desk area, and a few other goodies...a couple of things i did was set up my voicemail, outlook signature, and pretty much get used to the settings and the environment...i met up with my supervisor, Aaron, and we spoke in the cafeteria and it was a nice chat...we spoke about pretty much everything and anything for about 30 minutes...afterwards, i met up with the rest of the team including Jen, Tracy, and Dan...John, another teammate of ours, wasn't in today but will be in tomorow...i will let you know what i will be doing exactly as i try to catch up to speed with the rest of the team...i tried catching up to everything up until 620pm when i checked out of the company and finished my first day at the job!!

i am very excited to be a part of something big at stryker and i can't wait to start participating in all the team functions...there is some travel opportunity in the next few months going into the field visiting doctors and chatting with them and gaining some feedback and letting them know what we can do for them...i will add more as i learn more about it

and thats about it....as for last weekend, it was great....my friends Marvin, Jose, Jose's sister, and Jose's cousin passed by on Sunday, August 26th, and chilled with my family and i....they brought tons of food and with my dad's grill, we were able to have a yummy BBQ!!  also we were playing the Nintendo Wii and actually had an event amongst us titled the Nintendo Wii Olympics!!  the first event was Tennis and we had 6 people (including myself and my little brother) and we created teams and had a great time!  we tried to make it competitive but everybody had plans later in the evening so we weren't able to crown the champs...after that, we did bowling in which Marvin and I teamed up to face Jose, Miggy (Jose's sis) and Marc (Jose's cuz) and Marv and I got destroyed!!  the first game i bowled well but crapped out afterwards!  lol  we played i think like 4 matches and we lost all four...it was a rough day for marv and i ...after that we tried golf but marvin had to go...we were able to finish the event without marvin and afterwards, i drove Jose, Miggy, and Marc to Newport Mall for them to meet up with their friends to catch a movie

It was a great night just relaxing and just chillling with your good friends...nothing beats that!  i just hope we can have more of that in the near future...

as for right now, i am going to sleep...i will try to get in at 7am tomorrow for my first full work day so wish me luck...talk to you soon and i will blog again!  take care and goodnight!

Thanks,

Manny Colon

Why Can't Wii Be Friends?
Well, I need mii some friends, so my Miis won't be lonely. If you want to swap, my friend code is:

1710 - 2983 - 0299 - 6337

Your unique Wii code can be found by going to your Wii Message Board > Write new message > Address book.

This is also the place where you register your friends. In order to be friends, both parties must register each other's friend codes.

Nintendo Wii
I now have a Nintendo Wii. It is pretty much everything they say it is. The controls work remarkably well and lends to games a level of interactivity never before seen in a video game console before. The machine is quiet, small, and the controllers are wireless, so it is unobtrusive. Nintendo finally brought it all together, sacrificing some of the things that next gen gamers are looking for in order to bring gaming to even more people.

So far, the worst thing about the Wii is the difficulty in getting one right now. Nintendo obviously didn't foresee being on top in this generation of gaming. I still have a hard time believing that they can't match supply with demand, because it feels like they aren't even trying. I think a large part of this is because of the profitability of reselling the console right now. People are stalking the stores and buying them just to sell on ebay. I was tempted to buy a couple of them myself.

The effort is worth it, though. I'm playing the new Harry Potter game... and I'm tempted to buy some of the virtual console games... they have Gunstar Heroes and Bomberman '93!

Wii!
