So we have entered the Dog Days of Summer here at the home office and unfortunately I cannot type this out of doors, as is usual company policy for I am staying where it is nice and cool so that my laptop will not suffer a meltdown in the heat of August. But such is life in this area on this planet during this part of the year and I shall accept my fate and type in the break room for I know no employees will venture forth into these here parts at this time of the day for I would severely reprimand them for taking additional breaks...

And I will sit here and long for the Tree Slug Days of Summer when I can return to the great outdoors and enjoy publishing this fine publication that you have all come to know and love. How I long for the Tree Slug Days, and a PDA, yeah, I would like to have a PDA at this moment, but it is not in the corporate budget at this moment and a lobster roll, what I wouldn't give for a lobster roll at this very second. Maybe if there is a subscriber from like up near Maine who would send me lobster rolls my life would be complete. And a pet frog, I would like to have one for the office. And so many things great and small from all parts of the known world to surround myself with, yeah, that would be nice...
