Christmas Shopping!

I went to nana's this morning - she'd said I could borrow a pair of grandad's longjohns for tomorrow's filming. Then I'd said I'd go into town with her to do some Christmas shopping with her. Mam dropped me off and nana made me some toast for breakfast while I played on my DS to deter myself away from the boredom that morning television always, without fail - brings.

We got the Leven Valley bus - from the epic bus stop three meters from her doorstep - at half 11 and got into town for around 11:45. Nana seemed to be getting lots of gift vouchers - we were all over the place, from River Island to Game and back again. Seriously, if I ever looked out of place - I look out of place in TopShop. Just imagine me standing in TopShop, wearing my anarchy blazer, black jeans with the big fuck off chain, black and red Converse - and to top it all, I was waiting for nana by the PETITE racks. Seriously lmao, what an outlier.

When we were in Game, I showed nana the Brutal Legend adverts they had up on the screens - she suggested that I ask Ian and Lisa to get me it for Christmas. That's not a bad idea nana. :)
I also noticed the strategy guides... Hmmm... Should I be obsessive and go for the 100% with a guide? I only buy guides for epic RPGs and games I REALLY like. I have a feeling I'll like BL though. It's certainly my type of game.
They have DJ Hero set up in Game - seriously, Shelly and I have got to have a go of that when we're in town next week. It looks fucking ridiculous like. :)

I went into Boots to get some stuff for Ian and Lisa. I've got Lisa a cosmetics bag and a lipgloss set - they're all themed with like Japanese geisha girls - which I know Lisa is batty about, so they seem really fitting. I've got a body set for Ian, but I need to get them both some chocolates to go with that. I might get Ian something else too, maybe when I go mooching in Forbidden Planet for Adam's present. :)

When I was in River Island, I found the best thing ever for him - but I shan't post it to here, for I know he's an avid reader of this blog. :P
And of course, when walking past HMV - the idea struck me for what nana could get me to go with the games rack she's bought me out of Argos. Rammstein's sexy new album, Leibe Ist Fur Alle Da. :D

I set off for college at about 12:40, but still ended up about ten minutes early, so I stood about listening to Rammstein and Blind Guardian.
Film Studies was reasonable - we finished off our posters from last week and made some notes on a documentary about blockbuster films. Saying that, blockbusters are fairly simple to understand - I really didn't need to see a documentary about them to understand the concept.

Walking back to the bus station, I bumped into mam, Christine, Lucy and Lila - so I turned around and walked back to the car park with them. Nice one, I saved my bus fare. :P
I sat in the back of the car with Lucy and Lila - who she had on her knee. She looked like she kept wanting to lunge for my badges. I wasn't keen on the idea - yes, I'd like to see children getting impaled on safety pins, but I could do without baby blood on my face. :)

When mam came home, we watched Desparate Housewives and then when we ran out of DVDs, I ate a bowl of rice and watched How Clean Is Your House? - Kim Woodburn is supposed to be going on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here on Sunday - so I'll definatley be watching that, she's fucking epic. :D

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shelly came at around five - we laid on my bed and had lots of cuddly time.
It's so weird cuddling her when we've got Cannibal Corpse and Rammstein blasting in the background. :)

I got some things organised for tomorrow's filming - mainly the suit jackets and shirts from my wardrobe, then I hung them on the door ready for when we needed them.

Ponder Ponder

Lmao, how awkward is it trying to play Leisuire Suit Larry when your nana and grandad are wandering around?
I've had to play the game with the fucking remote within reach - even so I could just flick onto a different channel during the naughty loading screens with the real-life models exposing their breasts. :D

I've completed it today - though I'm stuck at about 98%, now needing to proper hoarde secret tokens so I can buy the last two secrets, one from the Porn Fairy and one from Uncle Larry - but in effect, I need about 300 tokens and I only have around 35 - that means re-doing the majority of the story sequences with perfects. Wonderful. Button sequences and chat lines all over again. I doubt I'll be able to perfect some of the dodgy trampoline mini-games. Gahhh... If only I hadn't wasted so many of them.
I can mark the game down as BEATEN, but I'd rather have the shiny gold COMPLETE.

...Hmmm... To print a secret token checklist... To restart the game?
Dixie is wondering... I love it - so would it hurt to replay? It's only an 8-hour game, after all.
But saying that, I do have the mountain of un-played games.

Ian and Lisa came to nana's after they'd been to a car boot sale - they'd been selling off some of their stuff. Ian was pleased with himself, having sold a stack of wrestling magazines for £4.
They'd looked for a music box for me - and once more, to no avail - eBay is calling me... :/

Nana provided me with peanuts and Rolos and she sat and played Solitaire. When she was in the room, I couldn't really play Leisuire Suit Larry, so I gave Evil Dead another chance.

Note to self: ALWAYS USE YOUR GODDAMNED BRAIN WHEN PLAYING VIDEO GAMES.
If the FIRST level of Evil Dead has a stupid puzzle, imagine what the later ones will have.

Unlimited No Longer

Typical Sunday - I took my PS2 along to nana's and there I ended up getting myself addicted to Ed, Edd 'N' Eddy: The Mis-Edventures. I gave it a little warm-up yesterday and today I sat down to seriously play it.
As I said, it's a lot better than I imagined. Though some levels were right twats and I had to end up using GameFAQs to let me know the whereabouts of some shite that was lying about in dodgy areas.

I stayed at nana's until half six - then mam came for me. We went home and watched about four hours worth of Desparate Housewives - now we're being limited to one episode per week because the new series is only just getting realeased in the USA. How shite. :(

Sunday Stuffz

Despite having no major events happen today that would normally have upset me, the mood from last week carried on over. I felt okay yesterday because I had company - but today I had no distractions, other than my PS2.

I took it along again with me and spent most of the day playing Guitar Hero II and Parappa The Rapper 2. Some of the levels are going to be ridicuously hard to get COOL ranking.

I went over to Costcutters with grandad to buy horseradish sauce and instant mashed potatoes. I said to nana I'd have gone by myself, but grandad was insistent that he came too.
There was a mob of baby chavs outside, setting up "penny for the guy" dolls. It's fucking October!
"Penny for Halloween" would make more sense, but even so - they're just dirty scrounging fuckers.

There was more polony sausage for tea today. Nana hasn't got any for a while. It was so yum. :)
And she'd made fairy cakes and lemon sponge cake - boy was it fucking nectar. :D

Oooh, and she's gotten an e-mail from Play.com - apparently Abigail II: The Revenge has been shipped and I should be getting it pretty soon. Excited like. :D

ROLL UP, ROLL UP!

Everyone loves Katamari. :P
I took my PS2 along to nana's today. I was hoping they'd stopped being pricks about the whole personal message thing - and it does seem that they have done. Thank fuck for that.
While I was there, nana played Solitaire and I talked to her while I alternated between We Love Katamari, Parappa The Rapper 2 and Guitar Hero II.

I've managed to complete PTR2 on easy and medium difficulties - and I'm up to the last level on hard. It's a pain in the arse though. I hate leading the song, I always cock up my timing beyond what's acceptable.
And with the completion of the last basic Katamari missions - I was able to finally ROLL UP THE SUN.
I actually didn't think I'd manage it, but all seemed to go well - and I watched the sexy credits. I've unlocked some extra levels too. Now I've BEATEN it, I'm going to MASTER it - by getting all the items, presents, cousins and a hell of a lot more speedy comets. :D

When I came home, mam and I watched a few discs of Desparate Housewives and ate Hula Hoops together. We were awake until like 1 in the morning, so I was knackered - thus making it fairly easy for me to get to sleep. :)

I've decided to change my idea of what to get Shelly for her birthday.
I've declined the idea of GH action figures - namely because they've like tripled in price since the last time I looked them up - but I'm not writing my idea here - I don't know if Shelly still reads this from time to time. We can't be having the surprise spoiled, now can we? :P
