Well I missed it again. By a half a pound. Thats right, again, I missed my goal by 8 ounces.
I think I will take some exlax next Friday and maybe that will help me hit my friggin goal next week. I wanted sooooo bad to get on the scale this morning and see it drop to my goal of this week of 25 pound lost. Yesterday I was at 24 lbs. lost so far, which was 2 for the week, and I had an excellent workouts all week and ended up yesterday with 15 minutes on the bike and treadmill and 30 on the elliptical. So I figured that if I did well throughout the rest of the day I should be able to hit the 25 pound mark.
"Not so" said the scale. "I will only grant you 24.5 lbs. lost if for no other reason than to piss you off."
the scale. I WILL beat it this coming week. I will have to change something, I will ponder that what that will be today, and make it happen next week. First thing I will do is eat healthy tomorrow. I have been eating regular on the weekends and up until last week I was drinking some beer. Last week I had no beer but went to a Super Bowl party, Yay Steelers!, and ate all kinds of stuff. Today they are predicting a bunch of snow today so last night I bought some shrimp and some wings for today but I have healthy stuff for tomorrow and the rest of the week.
This week was pretty good. More people at work are noticing my weight loss and these are the people I see everyday. Now I figure when I see my aunt next week, whom I have only seen once since I started working out, she should probably notice a big difference. If she doesn't, though, it will not matter. I have much more to lose and I WILL do it. It is nice wearing the old clothes again (I have a lot of nice Polo attire that has been collecting dust).
My goal for the coming week is to lose three pounds. No thats not true. I want four. I want to have lost 28 pounds by the end of next week. Whew, that is ambitious. Here I go....
