i have a headache n i feel sleepy. i almost passed out a couple times during brian's play, so i'm a little concerned. besides that, the play was good. he's playing Cladwell in Urinetown, and he does such a good job. i took some videos, i'm so proud! seriously, go give a big congrats to tweekscoffie217. good job little bro!

Joss Whedon is a genius.  He managed to mix one of my favorite shows with one of my favorite genres of entertainment -- musicals!

 

In the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical entitled "Once More With Feeling", a dancing, singing demon has the town of Sunnydale under a musical spell.  Whenever someone is feeling strongly about something, they burst out into song. 

 

I've been feeling a lot like Buffy in the following clip lately, but I haven't been able to be as humorous about expressing my feelings of numbness and detachment:

 

 

However, do like to find joy in the little things like this Sunnydale resident who's under the musical demon's enchantment:

I went to the Butler County Fair with Megan B today. It was great fun. I also chilled with her before band practice for awhile. The new THS band director was Eaton's old dude. He (Mike) actually plays in Summer Steel Band with me....so it was sooo much fun to hang with him. He made me play the Xylophone with him to the tune of Tanner's "Drive" and then we did "What I Like About You". The band kids really liked it. I actually got the hang of it pretty well. Sad news that the band still needs a pit director for band camp next week. Anyways..more Harry Potter reading now!
