Drawing at the Met part II
So here's an update on my drawings for my Summer '08 semester with the New School University.  Got my grades in already and I got an A for this class.  Yay me!

Drawing at the Met
So very proud of myself.

So, just to keep you in the loop (whoever you are), I've been taking a Drawing class at the Met (my favorite place in the whole world... you'll get sick of me saying that trust me) and I've been quite busy with my Script Analysis class as well (main reason why I haven't posted in a while).  Mind you, I'm not very good at drawing the human figure and well I tend to lose my patience a lot when I draw anything because I can never get it to look like how I pictured it in my head.  But this class has helped me a lot in both respects (patience and getting images out of my head and onto paper that is).  Here are a few samples:

I sent the boys out on a little adventure today. For those of you who know me, you know I always try to stay 2 steps ahead when it comes to Christmas. My goal is to have all my shopping done by December 1st. The reason being that I can then attempt to sit back and enjoy the holiday. Well, it is a nice thought but it doesn't always happen that way. Especially when I am gearing up for the big money I intend to make on Ebay this season.
So, I initially tried to talk Matt into taking Jack to the Pacific Science Center to see the Dinosaur exhibit. Yes, we have been once before but he LOVED it so much I thought it would be a great outing again. Matt came up with the idea to take him to the Museum of Flight. The first thing Jack said to me upon returning home is " Mom! Did you know that Astronauts eat chocolate pudding?" Matt did a great job and took lot's of photo's.  My personal favorites are the first one of him sitting in the cockpit of the red plane and the last one when he is crouching down checking out "Earth", that one was taken inside part of the Mir space station. He loved going to the museum and has been wanting to visit some sort of museum ever since seeing the movie Night at the Museum. I guess the Museum of Flight is much larger then either of them anticipated and they only got through about 3/4's of the museum before they both decided they were "Starving" and had to get lunch.  But, Matt said they spent about 2 1/2 hours exploring the museum.  Not bad for a 3 year old! He did tell me that while the airplanes were really cool, he still loves to go look at animals better. Good thing we are heading to The Oregon Zoo this weekend for Zoolites! He has been looking forward to this trip for months, so I am sure I will have lot's of pictures to post upon our return. But before that stay tuned for......Thanksgiving Photo's!
