I cannot tell the Jonas Brothers apart, I don't buy that they are virgins and their musical schtick worked a lot better back when Greg Brady was doing it.
Jordan Sparks looks like a middle linebacker.
Lady Gaga and Kylie Minogue need to get together and whoop Christina Aguilera's ass for stealing their steez.
I liked chunky, medicated Britney better than this lucid one.
Why does Rihanna get to perform multiple times at these awards shows despite the fact that the chick can't sing?
Kid Rock radiates amazing amounts of douchebaggery but he doesn't come close to the "King of All Douchebags" Kanye West.
Russell Brand is the unfunniest human being alive.
I saw the first hour of the show and passed out before I could see the second. That isn't because the show was boring mind you, but because I pass out on the couch every night like a bird with a sheet over the cage. As soon as I sit down, it is a downward spiral. If I'm not working or chasing the boy, my eyelids start to involuntarily close. I cannot describe a time in my life where I was perpetually this tired. I am fairly sure that I have some sort of sleeping disorder, as evidenced by my frequent sleepwalking, but until now, have still found ways to compensate and not drag ass during the day. Well those days are apparently gone, and I'm tired, so goodnight.
Remind me to post some of my sleeping exploits.
Tila Tequila. Wow. While the world knows her as hot, sultry, popular, and sexy - what she really is, is nothing short of entrepreneurial. Tila has not been made famous by Hollywood or even by an agent. She has done it all herself - self promotion, dedication and hard work has been the catalyst that has propelled this Vietnam born beauty into the spotlight.
In 2003, MySpace was just a space on the web. If you had friends there, they were probably the friends you already had and you used that medium as a central place to keep in touch. Tila, on the other hand was busying herself trying to gain recognition on websites like friendster. However, because of her very "out there,” outspoken and confrontational personality she kept getting kicked off. She had posed for Playboy.com and was their first Asian cyber girl of the month before she hit it big. Her big break really was on MySpace, when founder Tom Anderson sent her an invite. Tila recalls feeling like a born loser while all the popular kids were off at another school. So, what did she do? She started mass emailing people and telling them to come on over, to join MySpace and asking them to be her friend. Her goal was to have the largest friend network there, and she still receives over 5,000 friend requests per day to her already 2+ million online friends list.
Not only did she successfully promote herself, but she also is responsible for the popularity and success of MySpace - which even though not that ingenious an idea or even all that organized at all - with over 50 million members. Without a doubt, Tila understands the Internet, she gets marketing, and she ties it up in one successful package. From serious blogger, to model, actress, singer, rapper and clothing line designer, Tila has something to make major CEO's drool.
The latest and greatest in Tila’s arsenal of brainstorms was aired on MTV - A Shot At Love, where she set out to find true love. Tila describes herself as a hopeless romantic in search for that special someone to share her life with, to love, to be loved by and to pamper her with all the heart desires. Tila says that she would give up her fortune, fame, everything if she could only be certain that love was real and lasting. On the show, she brought together 16 guys and gals, all searching for true love. Because she did not want to eliminate 50% of the population, Tila let the world know that she is bisexual. This was an on-air confession that had never been made before and that completely shocked her 32 guests. Deter them from winning her heart, it did not.
They battled in out on the biggest battle of the sexes to ever air on public television. In the end, it came down to one hot lesbian named Dani and a sexy country boy named Bobby, and while the decision was tough Bobby was the one Tila wanted to take a Shot at Love with. They handsome and lucky Bobby apparently didn't know what he had because just before New Year, he dumped Tila. Tila dumped?
Remember, you heard it here first. Originally, Tila was going to go for round two, A Second Shot at Love, on MTV. But rumor has it, that it's since gotten waylaid because Tila is already in a happy relationship and has been for over a year now. MTV is pushing her to break it off, and Tila says, "No Way!"
Ms Chatterly imagines, given what she knows of Tila, that an exclusive interview with her would sound something like this:
MsChatterly: Tell us about A Shot at Love
Tila: Oh my gosh, it was so much fun. The guys and girls were all so wonderful. I love them all. It was such an amazing time in that house with so many amazing people. I learned so much about each of them, but also I got to experience a side of me that I almost left behind. It was heart breaking to say good-bye to them, one at a time.
MsChatterly: So, you really did develop feelings for some of these people?
Tila: They each touched my heart in a special way, but a few really worked their way in and made themselves at home.
MsChatterly: What was it about each that made you decide to give them another shot at love each week, or let them know their shot at love was over?
Tila: There were some I just couldn't let go, you know? I mean, some were so sweet. Some seemed to be able to reach down inside of me and bring out something I hadn't seen in a while. Some were so genuine, and the one I ultimately chose - I just wanted to win at something in life. Something about the ones I let go caused them to blend into the background. I found myself forgetting they were there.
MsChatterly: At the end, you chose Bobby over Dani. Why?
Tila: I've made out with few girls in my life and enjoyed it a lot. I lean more toward guys. Dani was so sweet. I just couldn't let her go until I had no other choice. She is a very special person and we will always be friends.
MsChatterly: What about Bobby? Your shot at love with him was short lived. What happened there?
Tila: Well, when I let him in on the fact that A Shot at Love was just a show and that he would be paid well to be my boyfriend in public, he was not emotionally able to handle that. His feelings were too strong and I should have been more honest with all the contestants. He 'dumped' me.
MsChatterly: And now, you are on the search again?
Tila: (sighs) No. I was going to do A Second Shot at Love, but when MTV learned [through Bobby] that this wasn't real, that I already have a wonderful relationship with an amazing man they refused to shoot the show, stating that it is blatant misrepresentation. They gave me the option to break my relationship off, but that is not even an option. They, instead, broke the contract for the show.
MsChatterly: You are in a relationship then? Why not just sport him on your arm?
Tila: We like to keep a low profile. Our personal life is just that - personal. If we can avoid gossip about us, then we realize our relationship stands a better chance of surviving. So, A Shot at Love was another marketing stint, but also something designed to shield our real lives.
MsChatterly: Wow. Well, where do you go from here?
Tila: Upward (laughs)
MsChatterly: Thank you, Tila. Good luck in your future.
Tila: Thank you, MsChatterly. I should have picked you. I love ya, girl.
In case you don’t know the story, Fiddy came into the Hanes booth at the Style Villa and arm wrestled me for watches. My $50 watch against his $50,000 one. I knew I probably wasn’t going to beat him, but I also knew I wasn’t going to keep his watch if I did. So you can imagine how surprised I was when he actually kept my watch.
IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO CONTACT 50, PLEASE EMAIL THIS TO HIM OR YOUR FRIENDS WITH THE SUBJECT LINE OF “GIVE DAVE’S WATCH BACK.”
Seriously, I don’t know what time it is. I need my watch.
