Motorcycles @ MindSay

I am new at this bloging thing, newly windowed (7 months) am ready for new adventures.  Educated, retired military, computer engineer, teacher looking for interesting converstation adventure, no subject out of the question.

It's great weather for driving motorcycles right now. I would normally be hearing hundreds of them pass by my mother's house...if I was there. My father used to put me on the back of his motorcycles when I was a little girl. We lived with my grandmother back then. Now, I watch these youngins on these fast little motorcycles and wonder how they can ride without some sort of protective underwear! I have known so many people to die or be seriously injured while riding motorcycles. I do my best to even avoid being near them on the road. I don't want them spilling in front of me and me end up running over them. I pray for motorcycle riders every time I see one or even thing about motorbikes.

Ok... Here are a few pics. The first one is a pic of one of a few tunnels found on the Smokey Mtn Parkway to Gatlinburg from Cherokee NC... this one is one that you drive thru and over, so its like almost a 360 degree winding curve, its pretty cool...

 

2nd pic is me after a ride to Discover Mills yesterday to buy myself a new reel for my fishing pole and get a spotlight for the boat. We are going out on the lake to a dance Saturday night with another couple that we met at camp a few weeks back, who has turned into a client and I hope great friends.

 

3rd pic-one of my roses in the kitchen that I buy from Aldi's .. 6 for 2.99. GREAT buy huh? They last a week or more from them.. you cant go wrong!

5th-Me working on a new client in the old/new camper. (can anyone say tax write off??) Our new camper will not fit a massage table, so if a client wishes to have one while we are up there, I will set the screen house up on site and a fan :)

Why men don't get replies from "Dear Abby".

 

Dear Abby,

 I've never written to you before but I really need your advice on what could well be a crucial decision. I've suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me.

 

 The usual signs ... phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up - My wife has been going out with the girls a lot lately but if I ask their names it's always "just some of the girls from work, you wouldn't know them."- I always stay awake to look out for her taxi when she gets home but she always walks up the drive.

 

 I have never approached the subject with my wife, I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth. Last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her. I decided to park my BMW R1150 GS motorcycle next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the whole street when she came home. It was at that moment, crouched down behind the bike, that I noticed that the valve covers on the engine seemed to be leaking a little oil.

 

 Is this something that I could fix myself or should I take it back to the dealer?
