Done! For October, a skeleton theme. I've got my palette above; a line drawing with a couple of choice colors. Flannel-plaid for the cool weather as a background and voila! Complete.

I came to really enjoy what I now think of my headboard theme. Don't the swirly shapes remind you of something you would see as a headboard in some kinky persons' or patron-of-the-arts' bedroom?

Chilly pointed out this month's header has a Christmas in July-feel. I'm alright with that even if it wasn't what I intended. Which begs the question, what did I intend? Simplicity, color, a bright bar/bandana across the top/head to emphasize the width. I like these colors together too. I wanted a ripped transition between the header and the body because it was important to me to have a white background.

May's header was inspired by a photo I took of someone's awesome cubicle decorations. This month's header is inspired by Camilla Pissarro's watercolor, "Three Women Resting". In case you can't read what the first woman is saying: 'So, I says, "Dude, why didn't ya hitch your wagon to the ass?" And he was like, "DUR-?"'
