I have been fascinated with the excitement that people have over the Moleskine notebooks. I was wondering what is so special about these notebooks that makes them worth the money. My buddy psychicpenguin  was trying to explain why these things are such a great asset, as he himself owns at least one. I was looking for cheaper notebooks than the ones I see listed on the official website and found that  Sky Cow Books has them for at least a dollar of the regular price. They have a notebook for pretty much anything you want to do. I thought that the storyboard notebook was neat..especially for cartoonists and movie makers.Then there is the one for music with the staffs already printed for you. I can see how the ease of use would make lots of people happy. Maybe one day when I find a good enough deal I will buy one for myself just to say I have one... LOL

this was me this morning. Moleskine and caffelatte. What more does a girl need?

 My favorite part of the day has become that moment when I slip in between my white cotton sheets to scribble contentedly into the cream coloured pages of my Moleskine notebook. It has become my best friend, we stay up late at night chatting about the day, my worries and deepest feelings. I tell it stories and draw it pictures, tell it about the funny man at the cafe who always winks at me as he makes my caffellatte, about the stupid soccer boy who has become my mortal enemy, about how much I love Able and how I miss my friends. I fold my favorite emails from Able and Bekah between its pages to read when I get lonely and doodle pictures of steamy cups of thick cioccolato, my favorite drink at the cafe.Writing has never been such a pleasure or a comfort and I will be at it again tonight after much reading of Livy and Machiavelli.
