Winter And Holiday Scenes
Group - 1  ** Updated Music - 12-09-07 **

Over the years I had created several winter and holiday java script scenes. I was going to try to recreate them here but with all the script coding and various files it might take a small miracle to get them to work properly with these blog editors. Since I already have them set up on web pages it is much easier to simply provide the links to allow everyone to view them. I have made a few small updates and even if you have seen them before, take a few moments to check them out once again. You will need a Java Script enabled browser. To view the scenes, click on one of the following links.

Winter and Holiday Java Script and Animations with
Lake and Snow Class Java Scripts and Music.

Snow storm on NY 5th Ave - Sleigh Ride.

Falling snow in Boston - White Christmas.

Bronx Zoo tiger with lake applet - Winter Wonderland.

Fireplace Fire and Snow Animation -  Let It Snow

I have a few more scene links I will post in a day or so. Until then, Have a safe, warm, wonderful and relaxing weekend.

A Musical Quilt

If there was a "Write" way to go about "Righting" a song, then I somehow surely must have missed it.  Those who know the secret of successful song synthesis, are not only on the money.gif"payroll", but they seem to magically and efortlessly spill out song after song. flat.gif

Does a composer hear it then lay it down, or is it perhaps they exact opposite way all around.  Is a composition written, for the satisfaction of the writer, and then happens to please the listener, or is the "great" songwriter intentionally giving other "ears" just what they want to hear?

Because there seems to be a "Right" way to "Write a song, and I haven't got a clue, I have often wonder, what methods do YOU use? music_e0.gif MetroLgBlk.gif

Is it about improvisation, and then some recalculation, or more about systematic and intentional motives, melody, and harmonization? comp013.gif media025.gif

Blessed with a gift, a talent, or a muse, and surely there must be a template, a method that they use.

Ngayon At Kailanman
(by Basil Valdez)

Ngayon at kailanman
Sumpa ko'y iibigin ka
Ngayon at kailanman
Hindi ka na mag-iisa
Ngayon at kailanman
Sa hirap ko ginhawa ka
Asahan may kasama ka sinta
Naroroon ako t'wina
Maaasahan mo t'wina
Ngayon at kailanman

Dahil kaya sa 'yo ng maitadhanang
Ako'y isilang sa mundo
Upang sa araw-araw ay siyang makapiling mo
Upang ngayon at kailanman
Ikaw ay mapalingkuran hirang
Bakit labis kitang mahal
Pangalawa sa Maykapal
Higit sa 'king buhay

REFRAIN:

Hanggang doon magwawakas pag-ibig kong sadyang wagas
Ngayon at kailanman

REFRAIN:
Sa bawat araw ang pag-ibig ko sa 'yo liyag
Lalong tumatamis, tumitingkad
Bawat kahapon ay daig nitong bawat ngayon
Na daig ng bawat bukas

Labis kitang mahal (ngayon at kailanman)
Langit may kasama ka (ngayon at kailanman)
Ngayon at kailanman

Boycott Ringophone

Posted by Pongball on 03/01/05 02:50 AM

There are hundreds, if not thousands of websites on the Internet that are hosting video game MIDI files without the sequencers' permission, and often giving them no credit at all. As a sequencer, this is just something I've learned to accept and live with. However, when I stumbled upon a website the other day that's actually selling our hard work for a profit, I was pretty furious. Meet Ringophone, one of the biggest scums of the Internet today. I recognize almost all of the "ringtones" in their polyphonic video game ringtone section from VGMusic.com. They've taken MIDI files directly from this and other websites without any sequencers' permission, given no credit to the sequencers whatsoever, and are selling them for $0.99US each. I can tell you that the sequencers of the files certainly aren't seeing any of that money, considering that one of my sequences is there.

So, what can we do about it? Unfortunately, sequencers who reproduce other people's music as a hobby have no real legal rights over their reproductions. It looks like the only thing we can do is give this website a bad name and try to get people boycotting it. If you feel strongly about this, send Ringophone a letter telling them how you feel (use this address: legal@epinoisis.com). Please don't send anything malicious such as viruses or anything that would be classified as spam. Tell them that what they're doing is wrong and that you don't appreciate it one bit. Post this news on your webpage or blog and spread the word that this website is taking advantage of sequencers everywhere. And whatever you do, don't buy anything from them.

Biggest load of crap i'v heard in a while...

.

But continuing off from yesterday, James had found a way to make my day a bit... well.. MUCH better really... he had gotten me a DVD from 8-bit theater :P I can only imagin whats on it.

Im still VERY pissed off at mike though, that wont change for a while. He wouldn't know the truth even if it kicked him in the head, and truth being is that being dark is who i am and if he cant accept it then--in his words, "I dont know what to do with you."

Then dont, cos your not saposted to do anything about it if the damage is already set in.

I'll just depart now, becouse im sure no one wants tohear mecomplane anymore then what i already had.
