Drawing at the Met
So very proud of myself.

So, just to keep you in the loop (whoever you are), I've been taking a Drawing class at the Met (my favorite place in the whole world... you'll get sick of me saying that trust me) and I've been quite busy with my Script Analysis class as well (main reason why I haven't posted in a while).  Mind you, I'm not very good at drawing the human figure and well I tend to lose my patience a lot when I draw anything because I can never get it to look like how I pictured it in my head.  But this class has helped me a lot in both respects (patience and getting images out of my head and onto paper that is).  Here are a few samples:

Update redux
The project I'm running the iron is at the halfway point.  The job is in full swing now.  I have a crew of 12 working around 50 hours a week.  I had a chance to get atop the tower crane a week or so ago.  I shot a panorama of the Madison Skyline.  I haven't had time to do anything with it though.  I am hopeful it will turn out good.  The project should top out about the beginning of August.  The company I'm working for just picked up a huge project down on the UW campus.  Looks like the overtime won't being going away anytime soon.
In other news I have been nominated to go to our International convention this August in D.C.  I am cautiously optimistic that I'll get selected.  Would be  a great oppurtunity for me to meet with other Ironworkers from all over North America.

Continuing with the list of wants
While I have already mentioned that I want a PSP, I figured I also had to share the other "want".

It is between the Yamaha Vino Classic:

or the Honda Metropolitan:

I am looking for something small to get me to and fro. I don't want to get another car, because the bus line is working fine for me. It would just be so fun on those nice days to zip to work on these cool looking scooters. If I needed to return a book to the library. Much easier to use that then to drive the car and have to worry about parking.

I used the word "zip" to describe riding a scooter... I think "zip" is the appropriate word. "Drive" just doesn't work, but zip... yeah... You zip on scooter.
