How you KNOW that you're married...
How you KNOW that you're married...

Three women: one engaged, one married and one a mistress, are
chatting about their relationships and decided to amaze their men.

That night all three will wear black leather bras, stiletto heels and
a mask over their eyes.

After a few days they meet up for lunch.

The engaged woman: The other night when my boyfriend came over
he found me with a black leather bodice, tall stilettos and a mask. He saw
me and said, 'You are the woman of my life. I love you.' Then we made
love all night long.

The mistress: Me too! The other night I met my lover at his office
and I was wearing the leather bodice, heels, mask over my eyes and a
raincoat. When I opened the raincoat he didn't say a word, but we had
wild se x all night .

The married woman: I sent the kids to stay at my mother's house for
the night. When my husband came home I was wearing the leather bodice,
black stockings, stilettos and a mask over my eyes. As soon as he came in the
door and saw me he said : 'What's for dinner, Batman?'

Gate of real life

After 28 years of fooling around its finally time for me to settle down... with the one who could really tame me and sit my ass down.. I believe in the saying that there is always somebody who is customed made for you who could stick with you thru thick and thin and after a long time of wandering  well guest, what i finally found her, and she blew me away and rock my world. use to be organized and passive, but since i met here, i completely change.. i tend to be more spontaneous driven and passionate. come to think of it, life is really short so why spend it trying to worry what would happen tommorrow, i think for now im more relaxed and laid back ill just think of tommorrow when its here.. for now ill just enjoy what the day would bring me. a little hardship now and then wouldnt kill you. it wil just make you stronger and wiser.. so i really learning a lot now than i was in school.. experience is really the best teacher..

Baby or Bust!
I have been married for nearing five years but my husband and I have been together for more than 10 years. In all that time, we've never had a child. He has no children from a "previous relationship" and neither do I.  A lot people ask us, "Why don't you have kids?" "Are you trying?" "Do you want the name of my doctor?" Most times I just brush these questions off because a) it's no one's business and b) it's no one's business.

For the most part, my husband and I agree that we want to have children -- someday. But that day hasn't come around and it's not until tax season that we really start to think, "Hey, maybe we should have a baby!" The main reason being that we wouldn't have to pay so much in taxes. Well, not that we wouldn't have to pay but at least there'd be some sort of discount. I mean, I have friends who get back $3,000 or more and I'm like, "Whoa! That's a lot of spare change!" At least to a couple with no kids. Sure, my friends with kids have to pay fees for daycare and there's all those school fundraisers and extracurricular activities but at the end of the day, there's so many discounts for kids and people with kids. I mean, kids 12 and under eat free! Kids under 30" ride free! All that kind of stuff. And not to minimize the hardships with kids--ear infections, broken legs, detentions, etc. but I can't help but feel that by April 15, my husband and I have missed out on something. Hmmm...

I guess the grass is always greener. I mean, even though I'd probably be eligible for some serious tax deductions, I  can't help but be grateful about the fact that my husband and I can plan our weekends without the thought of getting a sitter (at reasonable rates)  or that we can leave home late from work and not argue over who's turn it is to pick up "your child." Maybe someone else is saying, "Kwityerbitchin! You've got it made! No going to bed late. No emergency hospital visits. No parenting advice from everyone including God and his mother...Geez!" My how green the grass!

So, even though we will file our taxes  for a household of two (no dependents), I can't wait until we do have a kid because then our status changes--married with dependents. Smiley

calm like a bomb...

ha, so a funny thing happened to me yesterday and i came here and typed all about it, but when i went to post it, it got erased...  :(  sadness...

oh well, we try again...

okay, so yesterday, i'm here at work and one of my regular customers comes in...

"hola, miguel!!  como estas?"  i ask.

"bien, bien," he replies.

we sit there for a second in silence before he says: "hey, i was thinking, one of these days when you're not to busy, i would like to take you to lunch, just you and me.  maybe some time this week or if you're not busy on saturday."

i can feel my face getting really hot and i know i'm blushing as bright as i can...  i was pretty sure my face looked like volkswagens LY3D paint code for theire "tornado red" color.  and if you don't know auto paint, that's waaaaaaay bright...

so i say: "thanks, miguel.  that's really kind of you.  thanks for asking..."

it's quiet for another second and i say "um, did you know i'm married?"

and he says "oh, yes, i know you're married.  i'm married too.  it's just a friend thing.  i just want to say thanks for matching my paint on friday."  he turns to walk out and says "just think about it and let me know when you're avaliable."

and that was that...

miguel is a really nice guy, and if i were to go with him, i know he wouldn't try anything...  but i could never go to lunch by myself with a customer like that....  it would just be too weird, even if i wasn't married....

geez....  anyway, thought i would share...

ha ha ha ha...
