Over cast skies, storm clouds on the horizon
A flash of lightning and the boom of the thunder fill the silence
A man stands alone with nothing to live for.
The tears fall from his eyes as he stares of at the incoming disaster.
He cares not what happens to himself, and he looks fondly back on a time not so long ago.
She was beautiful, her face…her eyes, her smile, and her hair they were all perfect.
There was nothing the man would do to change her. She was everything he wanted in a woman. She was honest, loyal and beautiful. He never wanted anything but to hold her in his arms.
She broke his heart
She didn’t want him, and his heart was never the same after that.
He became hard and callous
Cared for nothing and no one.
It seemed that he left all of his love with her.
She kept his heart, he could never take it back
According to him it belonged with her.
So the man grew to be alone, he became a gray melancholy man.
And then there he stood facing an enormous storm
It inched his way closer and closer. The danger grew around him.
He still didn’t even flinch. He let the rain fall upon his face to hide the tears he’s shed.
Lightning shot down by his feet just sparking in front of him.
The wind was blowing.
Made him shake and shiver just like the day she left him forever.
Thunder boomed to his right and Lightning flashed again on his left.
The man raised his fists in the air and screamed
“Take me already….What are you waiting for?”
As he says this he picks up a large weather vain that had been knocked down from a building nearby.
“I’m ready to die, I’ve been ready to die for the last ten years. Kill me already! I WANT TO DIE!!”
A flash of lightning struck the weather vain and sent electricity surging through his body.
He was free…He got what he wanted.
He was set free from the torment of the pain that woman had put him through.
He was dead now, and he finally got the peace he desired.
He got the Love he required.
No more pain, No more hurt.
Everything ceased to be and the storm on the horizon came in and consumed the charred remains of a man that was finally happy.
