I started reading a very interesting book recently... as with most great things in my life it kind of jumped out at me. "BLINK is a book about how we think without thinking, about choices that seem to be made in an instant - in the blink of an eye - that aren't as simple as they seem." Early on it leads to a website that shows how we lean or have certain feelings about many things around us, age, race, gender, sexuality, among others. From me it was eye openning to take these tests and realize how many preconcieved ideas I had about people based on one look... ideas that lead to discrimination. I'm interested in how uncomfortable these results are for others.... I challenge you to take one or all of these tests and tell me how you feel after. Some didn't surprise me, others made me feel sick to my stomach. End of the day I am a better person for checking them out...
