Magazines @ MindSay

What are your major sources for news?  Do you read newspapers and magazines, watch TV, or use the internet?  Do you go to traditional sources or non-traditional sources?

I didn't know until posting on Mindsay that newspapers are now pretty much considered for older folks and the internet for younger folks, so it will be very interesting to have some feedback.

Just recently, another young person had an article in the SF Chronicle about this subject and he says:  "What's the new what?  For political junkies like me, my news consumption is a lot different fromm old-media consumers like my parents."  (to see the full article go to:  www.youthradioflows.wordpress.com  )

   We just delivered some dirty magazines to Florida. They were dirty because another truck was on their way to deliver them, but wrecked and scattered them all over the place. (Well how did you think we had dirty magazines?) We were told no other vehicle was involved in the crash and it was the middle of the night so we think the driver probably went to sleep and ran off the road. The team in the truck stayed overnight in the hospital for observation but they are alright. The company sent some people down with a different trailer to salvage all they could, then we picked it up and delivered it. They did a pretty good job but this is what the inside looked like when we delivered it.

If you live in Southern Florida and the magazines at your local store look a little rough this week, this is the reason why.

I went through my MWLM email this morning - took about an hour.  Just before we left on vacation, I got my copy of the print magazine.  Well worth it gals!  I heard from the publisher, yesterday, the extra "promo" copies will be here by the end of the week.

Can't wait to share them.  I've already conned someone into giving them out.  Tileman's co-leader.  She's a better people person than I am.  Plus she's in the mommy co-op and runs her own pre-k, so she knows a lot more moms than me.
