LSU 62--Duke(#1) 54 Mwahaha! Elite Eight baby! The game was wonderful! I mean, the defense was exciting the entire time! It was definitely not my LSU's best game this season. But it was an excellent display of defensive ability and heart. We had the whole family over (minus my stepdad, Carl who was unfortunately out of town on business--he's also the biggest basketball fan out of all of us!) But anyway, we were loud making noise, etc. etc. Emily calls me up (her dad is a BIG basketball fan too) and askes if it's as loud over here as it was over there. Ha! Well I tell you what, it was the most exciting bball game I've seen on TV in a while.

Tyrus Thomas, player of the game for LSU. He had to miss the last few games of the regular season and the SEC tournament due to an injury. Oh yeah, he's a freshman...

And Tazmin Mitchell. I like him. askance also went to highschool with him. :) He's a freshman too.

And the lonely senior, Daryl Mitchell (The Silent Assassin).

But one of my most favorite parts of the entire game... was "Cry Baby Redick!"

 Geez man... it's only a game! Mwahahaha! Okay... so it's your life.  I understand.  You're a senior, it's your last game and stuff.  I wish I could say I cried the last time I marched in marching band.  But I didn't, so oh well.

I'm just excited to see what happens next for LSU.  We haven't been to the Elite Eight since I was a baby!

Daddy:  "You like me all the time?"

Momma:  "Yes!"

Daddy:  "You are a damn liar!!"

*to Daddy*  "Stop laughing, Joe.  It's not funny." -- Momma, an LSU graduate

 

"Is the lemon fairy going to come and smack your ass with a toothpick?" -- Ian

 

Daddy:  "That'll give you some food for thought."

Little Josh:  "Just don't eat too much thought."

 

Rebecca:  "What are you going to give my boyfriend?"

Big Brother Josh:  "A disease!"

 

Momma:  "Well, maybe if you had prayed to Saint Anthony, he would have helped you find your watch."

Daddy:  "That's right, Gretchen!  I prayed to the motorcycle saint, and now I'm getting a motorcycle!!"

 

*laughs her ass off*

 

I swear, I think my Daddy is the biggest smartass on the face of the planet.  :p

 

Well, I'm going to go try and make food magically appear before me.
