I thought i was getting alot better with it but seriously why cant i shake the whole jealousy thing. i have come along way with it, and i am working on it when i feel a spell come on, but i just wish i could make it disappear. my baby gets frustrated with me when she can tell i get what i call a spell, but she deals with it and assures me everytime that there is nothing to worry about. thats one of the millions of things i love abot her. she can get me through anything and i usually dont like to lean on anyone but i can lean on here for support when needed.

which is said to help repel one's enemies.
The recipe was found among a small collection of deeds, leases and
other papers held at Cornwall Record Office.
The spell, which dates from around 1700, involves heating a pint of
urine then adding salt and three new nails and keeping it warm for up
to ten days.
The spell has been released as part of the Archive Awareness
Campaign, which aims to promote archives across the UK.
Similar spells have been found in wall cavities and attics across the
country.
'Wonderfully personal'
The charm, created for Cornish woman Thamson Leverton, is said to
repel "your private enemies (who) will never after have any power
upon you either in your body or goods".
Tamsin Mallett, principal archivist at Cornwall Record Office,
said: "This little charm is a lovely example of some of the
wonderfully personal items held in archives.
"Archives really are all about human life.
"Thamson Leverton obviously wanted something to ward off her enemies
and someone created this for her. I wonder if it worked?"

This spell is to help the growth of new projects, and
should be done when the first thin crescent of moon
shows. You will need a bowl of earth or compost and a
large seed such as sunflower seeds for each new goal you
wish to work on. An alternative would be to use a pinch
of alfalfa or cress seeds for each magical goal; these
could then be eaten once they have sprouted, so that you
make the wish part of yourself.
Take a seed (or pinch of smaller seeds) for the first
magical goal and cup it in your hands, visualizing our
purpose as you hold the seed/s, being sure that what you
ask for is to your benefit and doesn't harm yourself or
anyone else. When you have done, plant the seed/s in the
bowl of compost. Then move on to the next goal. You can
do this spell alone or in a group, but try not to work
with more than three goals per person, or you won't be
able to put as much energy into the spell.
When you have planted all your seeds, hold the bowl in
your cupped hands, breathe in energy (imagine this like

Water in bowl or "Special cup", and crystals.
Cleanse the area with sage. Cast the circle with
the Athame (or whatever you like to use best),
placing the stones (or you can use whatever you
would like) to mark the outline of the circle.
EARTH: Place the bowl of salt to the north
AIR: The incense is placed to the east
FIRE: Place the candle to the south and light
WATER: Place the glass or bowl of water to the west
Invoke the Goddess and/or God. Say what your intentions
are.
Sitting in the middle of the circle, write what bad
thing happened to you. The emotions that you felt before,
during, and after the event happened. Also write the
affects its had on you since the event happened. Fold
the piece of paper however you want.
CHANT: The past is over, what's done is done.
I'm healing and moving on.

Those wacky Medieval Wenches
I found this book at barnes & Noble called Element Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells. It had all kinds of spells from all kinds of different magical traditions. But there were some love spells in there that were quite nasty. Most of them called for putting menstrual blood in your intended's food or drink. *ick* But the worst one was called Medieval Fish Spell. It said the young lady should go to the market, buy a live fish, put it in a Very Naughty Place Indeed until she is sure it is quite dead, prepare & cook as usual, then serve it to her lover. Gross.
