"Everywhere"
I see you in everything
Everywhere I look you are there.

In the mirror, you're right behind me -
when I turn around it's just air.

Your smile follows me
to my car.

Your eyes take me to my dreams.

Your hair ignites an inferno in my core

Your sweet aroma lingers with me
whilst I eat.

I hear you in the morning bird's song.

I taste you after cleansing my palate.

I wish great happiness upon you,

And I crave to give you more.

"Everywhere"

Getting Organic on them fools!
Howdy Howdy all!
Well what's the haps on the New Year with y'all? I am cruising along nicely with my healthy eating routine. I have been writing like mad lately and I just finished a short short that I may or may not post for you all to read. Okay so I have been drinking this Bolthouse Vedge juice and their fruit juice about three times per day and WHEW do I feel fantastic! I upped the ante on the water drinking and my skin is really starting to look better in a very short time. You may not know this but I love science fiction (ha! I know that you know that! ) anyway, I am writing a fancy series right now and wanted to share a little something from it with you all. It is a poem of sorts written from the perspective of a King named Midas about The Sable Sovereign (an exiled Queen from some other world). They are in love even though they are no longer together for the moment. Anyway check it out....it is written in a kind of poem form I guess...

My name is...

Love, says he when my given name doesn't spring to mind.
Ire, when I am impatiently waiting for the chime in his voice
Sweetness, when the kisses flood my skin and make me dizzy with passion
Adorable, when he sees me from the corner of his eye day dreaming about us.

My Name is
Yemoja, when I emerge from the waters of Mother Earth cloaked only in this native skin.
Oshun, when I am heavy with the fruit of our love.
Minona, when I am shielding our sisters from the storms of this world and others.
Oya, when I bring the about the tempests of this land with a mere utterance.

My Name is
Please, because I alone hold the key to his heaven.
Yes, because to deny me is to deny himself.
More, because I am too much and never ever enough.
Blessing, because without me he might never know that a supreme being existed.

Well it isnt as well put together as I want but this is the skeleton nevertheless. I may go ahead and put some excerpts of the series here for anyone who may be interested.
That's all for now y'all
Goddess Bless
p.s. (why was "love juice" one of the recommended tags?) LOL

Don't Tell Me You Love Me

by Love

Don't tell me you love me if you are not sincere
For a lie that strong can ruin my life and bring on a new fear.
Fear to be loved, fear to love ever again
It can cause my fragile heart to break, tear and bend.
Think of all in life that will be missed
because of one small broken promise
So, when I put all of my trust deep within you
Please don't tell me you love me, unless you truly do.

Pretty bad Poem...but here it is

Once I had found you, but now you are lost

You filled my eternal thirst, and fed me the supper of love.

Held my hand when the clouds cried, and held me close when lighting struck.

Loved you I did, when no one else could be loved, and gave you the hammer to break the key to my heart.

With everything inside me I wanted to hold on

But lost you were, and no where could you be found.

My internal bleeding drown you, and nothing inside of me could save you.

The hammer that once shattered the key turned sides and slammed into my heart.

Ador you I will, yearn for you I must.

Forever shall you remain , stabbed into the vein, and clipped to the lining that outlines the crippled pieces of my fragmented heart.

El Paso -- By Brownstone and Dobie (a tribute to the song "El Paso")

A little Mexican chic

With tequila’d up lips

And a smile

That could dance

On a hat.

I told her where she should go.

Up to old El Paso

But she says

She don’t know

Where it’s at.

That little Mexican girl,

I thought I’d give her a whirl.

But a stranger

Did win

Her heart first,

So I challenged the man

With a twitch of my hand

And the stranger

He’d drunk

His last thirst

Now Felina is mine,

The maiden for whom I pine

As I smile

She does dance

On my hat.

I tell her where we should go.

Up to old El Paso

For she knows

Papi knows

Where it’s at.
