Love is here to stay

I am sitting here listening to Ella and Louis sing away. I love this c.d so much and I can't enough of it. It is the most relaxing and soothing music I have listend to in awhile. This is real music folks! None of that over-produced glittery paris hilton type of stuff. How that girl got a music deal is a mystery to me....well, maybe not so much! She is rich, and did a porno so I guess that qualifies you as a musician. Yesterday I was a bit sad and lonely, but I decided to do something productive and it helped with that lonely feeling you get in your gut (well, the lonely feeling I get in my cut). I went to Tower Records and bought some Ella Fitzgerald C.d's and danced the night away with the tunes echoing in my ears. Ella has sang so many songs and I think it is because she can make any song into a delight with that magical voice of hers. I wish my voice wa so powerful it would echo through time and space like hers. I also love Billie Holiday and need to get some more of her stuff. Who knew an angry teenager who loved rage against the machine, and tool would one day be appreciating jazz. I am glad I am a musical whore, and can dip into most geners! I still haven't found my country side so maybe someone can help? ;)

*sigh* Why is this song getting to me recently... i love the lyrics... especially that second line... But i feel like i'm missing something.... I never attached this song to anyone though, so i dunno... either way, just arrived at work 30 mins ago, so i'l write again later hopefully. Bye
