Howdy Howdy yall!
I am back from Mississippi and the Family Reunion was fabulous! I saw cousins that I had not seen in a million years! There was lots of good food and my favorite, fried fish (me and Eric B have that in common, or was Rakim?). Anyway, I really have to detox after eating all those confections! Cake and Pie and cobblers of every kind were in vast abundance! I have tons of pictures and found out lots of family history. This was so much fun.

Okay is it wrong that I bought one of those Jack LaLaine power juicers for 134.78 including shipping and handling? I have wanted one for so long and the QVC had then for half price! I couldnt pass that shit up right? I mean you can drop a WHOLE piece of fruit in that thing! You dont have to cut up everything into bite sized pieces like I have to do now with my inferior juicer which is such a pain that I hardly use it!

I am off next weekend (if you can believe that) and I wanna take a little break out of town again. I have some rewards miles with Continental and might check out Portland,Or. ONe of my bestfriends just moved there and I hear that it is a great place for eclectic folks and far out businesses. Hmmmm

get this! I sent in a piece of a novel like 6 months ago to a publisher and received and email and voice message from them to get in contact! Fingers crossed right?!
This would be a stellar tie in with my sad little mag rag I think! Look at me y'all, I am about to do the damn thing right? LOL

My friends are so bad ass! This includes of course the roommates to beat all roommates SuperFantastico and CJ, The Cocoa Goddess, Torrid Girl and Tristaprez. Then there are the friends who are new to your life but still a wonderful and positive addition, DIVINE!

I cant stress this enough people. Be good to people and have people around you who really get their hands dirty to help and heal you.
This is serious business. We don't do anything alone. And we need to recognize how the universe rewards us for our generosity and selflessness.
I mean generosity to ourselves as well.

girls got 1st in the meet and boys got 2nd. our girl's team is always better than our boy's team. it's always been like that.

but the top 3 placers in every event got medals. lots of people got medals in lots of events. i was in the 4x100 and we got 3rd. so. naturally. every leg got a little tiny medal. it's not that fascinatingly great or big or anything. i just think it looks nice. plus i've never really gotten a medal for anything other than participation in soccer. i thought i'd share. :D



and in other news. i got a book from Postsecret. i ordered it off amazon.com and it came in today. i love it. i just finished it a couple of minutes ago. seriously. it's an amazing thing what these people are doing. lots of those secrets sent chills down my spine. it was crazy but i just couldn't stop reading. i even sat there and told myself that i was wasting my time because i need to start reading my book for english but i seriously just could not put it down. it's an amazing book. hopefully i'll get all three they've published. here's a picture i took of it.
