Lost Friend @ MindSay

nothing new, starting to look for a new friend to run around with (that is code for i am looking for someone to have girl sex with). Lori is ... amazing but we dont' have alot in common, I need someone to shop with, go mall hopping with, gossip with, you know friend stuff. She agrees that we aren't that compatible except for the bedroom. We will still be seeing each other, but i need a gf!!!

lst time i ws on the scales i had lost 17lbs, my hubby is always after me wanting to see how good my body looks ... LOL ... now if i can just attract someone of the female gender.

still walking an hour a day, 5 miles, and feeling better every day. that pooch on my tummy, why doesn't it leave?????

it is sooooo hot here i just want to take off all my clothes  ..... anyone care to join me?? It's bee in the low 90's with so much humidity .... and no rain, still in extreme drought, can't wash the car, can water the dead grass, if i had a pool i couldn't fill it ....

the clothes at the store are soooo nice, got a store card hubby doesn't know about, it will hit the fan when he gets the monthly ...LOL ... i guess i will have to do something nice to make him happy .... do y'all like Banana Republic clothes ?

i think one of my sons is going to be a roady for Matt Nathenson (is that right, i have no idea who he is) he's met him at so many concerts that he gets to hang out with him before and after the concerts now, kids .... oh to be young

i want all my kids to leave for the summer so i can have a clean house and sex in every room when i want i  ..... i don't think it is going to happen

Kimme, you & patchesmom are in my thoughts and prayers sweetie. be strong, life isn't fair or fun but you make it brighter and much more loving so help your family

Tomorrow night we are going to listen to some live music at the local mall, they are usually good and nice ot listen to, we drink a little wine or beer, eat cheese or pizza and enjoy the beautiful music .... and it's free!!!

So today one of my friends told me that a friend of theirs passed away last night. 

It was a really stupid thing to die from too.  He fell down a flight of stairs, got brain damage, and then during the organ donor surgery, they lost him.

And as my friend is telling me this, all I can think is "I don't know what to say." I've never lost a close (and young friend) due to a death before. 

And then I started to think "If I can't even help out my friend now, then what use am I going to be when I'm a chaplain?"

And then my friend blurted out that yesterday was the first time in a year that they had gone to church on their own.  And enjoyed mass.  It's crazy how people blurt out things like that to me.  I don't know what it is about me that makes them want to tell me these things.  It could be because we are the same denomination.  I was telling them about this thing called the Living Rosary today.  I think that I might ask them as one of my 3 people I have to get to join.  I told them that I don't have a lot of friends that are Catholic.  It's sad that I don't know that many.  But it makes me want to be more evangelical and get my friends that are Catholic to be loud about it (like me).

But back to my friend...

They were really shaken up about this.  This guy was only 21.  He had a huge life ahead of him.  And now he is with God.  How sad it is for us, but how wonderful it must be for him. 

I ended up buying my friend a coffee.  It was the least I could do. 

Have you ever seen a guy look so dejected and close to tears but is refusing to cry?  Well that was my friend today.
