Locating people whom you have lost is fun, but not easy.
You can make it easy for others to locate you. Thanks to the Internet.
Here is what I do:
1. I create and maintain a whole lot of web sites about me. I use different combinations of meta tags, so that searching me on the web is easy.
2. I maintain two blogs and regularly keep updating them I use the tags feature in my blogs.
3. Every mail I send out has links to my web sites and to my blogs and also gives my complete street address. I use the "signature box" of my mailng program (Thunderbird, Firefox). It is so strange people do not use signature box in their mail. It is easy, automatic and free. But they are too lazy to try.
4. I answer ever mail I get, every day.
5. I keep hunting on the web for my lost friends.
Try this. You will be surprised at the results you get. Help your friends to locate you.
