Promised wedding photos
Hi everyone; I wasn't quite sure how to download quite a few photos on here, since I don't do photobucket or anything, and I think my husband, Lawrence, has come up with the best solution.

I am going to post the link for you to go and see at his Facebook sight. Please tell me if you can't see the photos after you click on the link.

The girl in the pink, is my eldest daughter, Bobbie, who was matron of honor, and the guy with the grey suit and pink shirt was my only son,  Roy, the baby and was the best man.

The other two men with the groom are his biological brothers.  Three out of four children were adopted out and it was so great to see everyone there, including adoptive family, biological family and church family, all getting along so well together...there were a lot of teary reunions, and that is what the Pastor (Groom's adoptive Dad) wanted to see.

She did opposite of coming in the church from the back.  We faced the stairs...you will see in photos...and the house, where everyone came down, and stood around the arch at the bottom of the stairs.  Both the Dad of the bride and of the groom were included in performing a part of the ceremony.

When we get the more formal photos back, I will try to post more, but in the  meantime, this is what my hubby got with his camera. I am the only ugly person there, the little dumpy in the green dress...:)
The girls in the green were the groom's sisters of his adopted family.  He has been with them since he was 12 years old.

Okay, here goes the link. I do hope it works.

Love you all; thank you for your patience.

My daughter's wedding
PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. :)

Well, my daughter, Liza-Anne is now Mrs. Robert Roberts.

It is amazing that Liza, who was born in Africa, and Robert, who now resides in Utah, after being adopted at age eleven, met and fell madly in love.

She is our middle child who always acted as the peace maker, never wanting to rock the boat or bother anyone or upset apple carts. So, since she was so sweet, we always wanted to please her.  Therefore, at first, she wanted everything simple, so that her parents didn't have to go to much trouble...:)

But what she ended up having, exceeded her highest expectations.  And, fortunately for me, especially since I was housebound for six crucial weeks, I didn't have to do much of anything, except to dole out my husband's money as we went along. A young couple in our church, who have a beautiful house, offered their garden to have the ceremony in. Liza had suggested the botanical gardens, but when the house was offered, we jumped at the chance, because there wouldn't be other people milling around.

Then Cheryl, the same lady, and her mother, Pat, went to town, shopping for everything, telling us what they needed, and arranging the whole thing with such precision and class. They were used to more opulent affairs, having lived in California and gone to a very large church. But they toned it down to match our pocket and it still turned out beautifully.

I was honored and nervous when she asked me to write an original poem for them and read it at the wedding.  This is how it turned out:

THEIR HEART’S RHYME

Over the miles in ’86, the Lord knew whom she’d need

To love and woo her on the appointed day

So He sewed the seeds…

Liza-Anne, born in Africa; Robert, across the sea

Way over in the United States

His parents smiled with glee.

Little did each know, that God, his grace unending

Had prepared these two lone hearts

To find a love transcending

Obstacles are nothing to God; they never pose a problem

For nothing is impossible

There is no failing in Him

For Robert also had a hole that only love could fill

For his parents had prayed for the Lord

To fully have his will

And send, graciously, their son, in His perfect time

The woman who would meet his needs

Fulfilling his heart’s rhyme

Liza’s family moved one way; Robert’s the other

Until one day, astoundingly

They’d meet one another

The day after meeting her, he asked her father, boldly

If he could escort this lovely girl

To dinner and some bowling

The rest is all history, for, as you see today

She is standing before witnesses

Daddy giving her away

Into the arms of he who asked for her, his destiny

Trusting that the Lord will bless -

This holy matrimony.

Bonnie, for Liza-Anne and Robert on their wedding day, July 11, 2009.

I am sorry but I have to quit right now, so mull this part over and I will continue later.

Love you all

bonnie

Holleee crud!

Well, I wasn't supposed to work yesterday. "My one day off"...

Nick: "Uhh... Liza?"

Liza: "Yes, Nick?"

Nick: "Uhh... what's up?"

Liza: "What time do you want me there?"

Nick: "As soon as you can get here."

Liza: "See you at 5:00. Am I box?"

Nick: "yes, ma'am."

So I have this idea. From now on... I am going to live at West Tower, because chances are every single day I will be clocked in for atleast six hours. So tomorrow, I am bringing my blanket, pillow, Dopey Dog, a few outfits, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, toothbrush, tooth paste, etc. It's what I've got to do.

Mimesis tonight---- and I cannot go. )= I furreal want to die. I hate my life. Hate, hate, hate.

BUT-- it's box tonight. Which is always fun.

Anyway, there's this girl who is a bitch... and she was here today... and her eyes could kill... and she doesn't look black like I thought, and... holeee crud... She needs to chill. Her entire table was looking because I'm sure she told them all about her horrible experience with me... it doesn't even matter... I don't even care... because unlike her, I'm gone next year. Unlike her, I've learned how not to get too upset and involved with all this drama. I don't talk to people here. I don't like anyone here. And plus, her face looks funny when she looks at people in an excited, wide-eyed face. haha... hahaha..... I laughed for hours.

ANYWAY--- hollleeee crud. I love school today. It's such an easy day...

Time to make FRANK SINATRA note cards. (=

<333

I miss Cassie. And I am going to miss her all week. Someone kill me. )=
I love Kotchie. I miss Kotchie. Kotchie, Kotchie, I lobe you!
