Blog #230
Never work with children or animals...
(Children, in this case :P)

Today mam had arranged for me to go to Paul & Leanne's house to take photos for my relationships project for Photography. I'd asked if I could take some photos of Leanne and their two kids Melody and Aiden.
This was a challenge - especially with kids always being on the move.
It annoyed me as well, the perfect shot was always in my viewfinder - WHEN THE CAMERA HAD STALLED. Or when it was LOADING.

Slow digital cameras, who'd have 'em...
Anyway, we spent a few hours there - I've taken about 140 photos, and there looks to be quite a few decent ones - and quite a few hilariously fucked ones. :)

So here's eight that I've uploaded and done some work with:

seeing what is!
mine,mine, mine...

i never really left... just fell silent!
so many changes and yet so many steps remain to be taken...
death walked in... and brought nothing...
i am poised...but it hasn't happened...that peace i await it eludes me yet again...
hunting for shelter has left me drained... i expected it but the feeling is depressing... as i shared my friend's frustration during her journey ...i face mine in solitude.

the veil should be gone ...but the damn contacts are a puzzle...inside out, right side in...maybe i am slow ...but it is an annoying procedure i long to master ....for perhaps that is one freedom that will set me on my way...

a baby came... a boy i was told...pictures of mother and father tell other stories ...
employment gained... a thrill you will not know...like finding brief companionship in the midst of the morning stampede to babylon.

deyas will be lit... and the darkness ravaged by the light  ...

aah......

sleep has washed over and peace is mine again.....

."America does have one thing we don't... homosexuals."
.My lens is in the mail on its way to Canon. The guy who works at The Camera Shop freaked me out. He asked when I was leaving for college. I told him "around the fifteenth of August, becuase of the Honors College's early move-in day." He looked grim and said, "Oh... okay. Well, you might just have to get the lens in the mail there. That's cutting it really close--only giving them four weeks." My first thought is, "Oh my God! I won't be able to take any photos for four weeks!" My second thought is, "Oh my God! I go to college in four weeks!"

."Rats in the cradle with the cat and the spoon..."
.My lens is broken. I have to send it in to Canon with the warranty. This could take three to four weeks. I may die. Why do things like this happen to me? Some guys just have all the luck...

Not so straight

Took my eye glasses back to LensCrafter's to get them checked. The Doctor there, changed my prescription and had new lenses put in my glasses. I thought everything was good. I got in my car and everything seeming to be , slanted more, but being less fuzzy then the first set of lenses , I just desided to give my eyes time to adjust. If that's what was really needed.

I came home , took my father to the lancaster moose. My mother and myself went to the walden galleria mall , she got some stuff from that build a bear workshop that they have. Then we came home.

I came into my room and sat at my computer. The screen is a flat screen. Nice and square like they are suppose to be, but my new glasses seem to differ. They make that nice square screen look more of like a parallelogram. Witch was what the first set of lens did, and the reason I went back. So I guess I still have the problem.

Now I have to wait till after 3 pm or at 3 pm friday to take them back to lenscrafters again. To see if there is something that they can do. Mike , from lenscrafters , on the phone , told me there might be a differance between the curveature of my old glasses , compared to that of my new glasses.

Grr, I hate this process of trying to get this problem fixed. It's really annoying. Glasses are too expensive to be playing these kind of games with. Also to expensive to give up on. Do you think my eyes just need more time to adjust to the new lenses ? or should i go to a different Doctor ? for  a second opinion , even though it will cost me another 60 bucks or so.

I am so annoyed and pissed off with Lenscrafters at this moment in time. They have one last chance to fix this problem. Cause if I have to go back again , it will be to return them and get my money back. To take to a different doctor and different place to have my glasses done the right way , possiably the first time ?

~ grr , wtf Smiley
